Best (American) muffins in New York. Get some and take them to nearby Prospect Park . Their coffee is okay, but you might want to combine these muffins with better coffee from Cafe Grumpy instead.

the baked goods are fine but the $10 card minimum is super annoying. They’ve lost my business many times because i never have cash and i always forget about the minimum.

Tip: Basically any of their baked goods are amazing. Coffee is good. They don't have a "to stay" option, so bring your own cup and plate if you don't want to waste.

A bit tight - and try not bumping over a baby carriage - but yummy cakes and pastries for sure. Coffee is lackluster though.

Great cakes but the service is ridiculously slow.

Prices are a tad too high. Cookies should be $1.50 max! Scones to muffins its all a bit dry. Coffee isn't too bad, varies day to day.

Go to LadyBird and get the chocolate mousse cake -- the buttermilk icing tastes like pure butter(in a bad way)

The red velvet cupcakes improve if you let them get up to room temperature.
