"I love their seaweed salad combo plate with egg , coleslaw & potato salad . Also their Eikagesu(squid legs !) is terrific. Great late night place to eat after shows!" - Tammie Brown, RuPaul's Drag Race
I wouldn't call this a ramen place . They have a pretty diverse menu and the ramen isn't the best of it. This place is super authentic in that it is very much like a typical eatery in the countryside.
Fave dish is the shrimp omelette with gravy over pork fried rice (add the curry seasoning) - tenshin chahan ankake.
My fave is #50, Tenshin Chahan Ankake with curry flavoring in the fried rice . It's a shrimp omelette w/gravy over pork fried rice .
Opened in 1976 and it claims to be the first real ramen restaurant in all of America.
Had the tonkatsu , gyoza and sme karage and all were delicious!
Try katsu curry rice , chicken karaage , miso yasai ramen...and Kirin on tap ! And remember, it's cash only ! Don't worry, it's not expensive !
Chahan , pan fried noodles , and chicken karaage were good. I don’t think the gyoza was homemade .
The pork cutlets are pretty darn tasty..
They are open the latest in Little Tokyo. No other ramen joint is open at 3am except Koraku ????
Great tshirts and Popeyes ramen
Definitely give #19 a go it was delicious.
I craaaaave the katsudon after a wild night at in downtown. This place is open latee so its a good place to sober up.
A Chinese Japanese restaurant ! No ... A Japanese Chinese restaurant . Either way it's good!
Cash only , but they do have an ATM in the back!
Get the shrimp omelet with gravy over pork fried rice .
Miso ramen , pork fried rice combo is the best!
try the katsu curry - it's devine
Shrimp omelet fried rice with gravy is the bomb.
This place is SO "Not Worth It!" Food IS & Looks UnAppealing. Taste has more to be desired. Just forget about it, if you're Sober! Cash Only ! Only thing good about this place is that it's open until 3
There’s a robot that take your food to you
So many kind of Japanese foods but the taste is varied.
Super low-key with great food and it's open late . Only annoyance is it being cash only .
Katsudon ♥
The best Japanese Fried Rice with Gravy . Open 24 hours , cash only .
With MSG, but tenshin ramen for a quick bite
Super delicious Japanese food ! Try the nikudango!
Order the Miso Ramen .
If you left here unhappy or felt that you wasted your money on such an awful dump that serves horrible food, "I TOLD YOU...!!!"
#49 with gravy on the side=p
Try the Tenshin Men
If you're drunk and lost in downtown, I recommend the meatballs here. If you're sober, stay away.
Stamina ramen . Yum!
Not good, but good beer deal
Try the mabo tofu ramen..delicious!!
Get the Ramen and Chahan combo!
Perfect place to rid a hangover! #39
Get the ramen !

#43 ramen & pork fried rice combo. Hope you brought cash.

Katsu Curry Rice .

Super rico ... no se que tan limpio pero esta rico. Aguas con lo picante
Inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace's food court, the signature shio (salt tonkotsu) ramen is excellent. The soy marinated chashu pork is as tender and sweet as pork gets. - Serious Eats
Udon has one of the best broths I've had in LA. Order the tempura udon with tempura on the side so it doesn't get soggy. - Joey Ng
Pricey but hands down the best Shabu place in LA. The wagyu beaf is melt in your mouth delicious. Their banana pie is a just as well! - Go Find Alice
Try any of the green tea pastries. Or the maple bacon donuts are excellent. - Kirk Y
Always been a favorite place of mine to get a quick lunch from. Lots of snacks and drinks and prepared meals to choose from. - Jamie R
