For spg platinum members definitely take the breakfast option here. The breakfast is fantastic with a very large assortment of fruit , pastries , fresh squeezed juices and some fantastic meat options.
If you are looking for a SPG Hotel close to the city - this hotel might be perfect. Friendly staff - railway station on the opposite site not the nicest - walkway to Stachus just 5 minutes

Centrally located and nicely designed. Staff are friendly but the breakfast is expensive at 28€ even if it is tasty. Quite a small gym with old machines but when in Munich enjoy proper food instead!

This hotel is in a great location. You can take a commuter train(S-Bahn) from the airport to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and Walk across the street to the hotel .
This hotel is home to one of the largest hotel-pools in Munich which measures 750 square meters. Along with it are exceptional spa facilities such as Finnish sauna , hot tub and more.
The Hotel is a very friendly place. Restaurant has a limited menu but is good. Breakfast is very good and extremely nice and helpful staff .

Get a room with garden view , but no higher than 3rd floor. This should get you free wifi from the lobby. ;-) ...at least as long as you're close to the window.

The lobby is super crowded as everyone tries to use the free wifi instead of paying for it in the rooms. Seriously, hotel , the amount of people staring at their phones in lobby is not a good look.

Sofitel was right across the street and only $50 difference (world of a difference), meridien service was slow no room bar and vale parking non existent.
There is absolutely wifi in the rooms, been using it since we checked in!
