Best for its great selection of reasonably priced organic & conventional produce. Meat and seafood are also really good (think Whole Foods with 15% off). Best to avoid the aisles though.

Amazing, amazing produce selection. You can splurge on organic or get great value on regular. Skip the pantry items though, they're overpriced.

Definitely a litttle Oakland gem . The produce is beautiful and superfresh. Organics come first. So long as you skip the aisles, the prices aren't bad at all.

This store is gret... I live close to it... And that's where I do all my shopping..... Their salad bar is the best.... they have really good wines .... And try their soups theyre really good! :)

Great butcher 's counter, bulk foods and produce section. Farmer Joe's is an Oakland gem ! Check out La Farine bakery across the street -- also the best!

Beautiful organic roasted chickens in various flavors that are cheaper than other places.

They have a better grass-fed beef selection than Whole Foods !

It's really nice when they open all registers. If its just one or two cashiers a pleasant shopping experience turns into a nightmare fast!
