Nice national park gift shop here. Interior of the church is really cool to see as well . Check out the grave yard right in front of the church entrance.
San Jose is the largest of the five San Antonio missions. Take a tour , then film a one minute video about San Jose. Post your video to YouTube and see who can get the most views ! –Race to the Alamo
Outstanding and interesting tour led by a ranger and a nice gift shop full of interesting items.
A lovely piece of history. We got a taxi to it and then walked back into town via Mission Concepción - 3 hours at a slow pace.
Historic, well preserved, informative movie and helpful staff
Enjoyed the movie and the free tour with one of the park rangers .
We are so lucky to have such a wealth of Missions! We suggest everyone checks them out! -Piatti at the Quarry
The history is amazing! Everything is well kept and it's overall amazing.
Disrespectful people walking their dogs and pooping in front of the mission. Can't clean up after the dog. They just leave it there
It's perfect if you want to know more about the Christianity in Texas by Spain.
Make sure you take the tour - it's FREE! Well worth it!
Amazing history and photo ops!
It's beautiful and full of history.

Established in 1720, it became known as the "Queen of the Missions" for its grand design of stone walls, bastions and magnificent church .
Historic, well preserved, informative movie and helpful staff .
Get a good idea of where you are going. The bike paths are NOT marked so well as of today.
Make sure you find the mill , its a pretty awesome feature. If your lucky some one might even be there running it
Amazing Mariachi mass . The acoustics carry so much sound
Must visit at San Antonio.
Beautiful mission. One of my favorites of the 5 missions in San Antonio.
Always wanted to see the Rose Window.
Admittedly you are unsure as you drive here that there is a national park mission here.
A look at how hard life was back in the western movie days. Not a Winnebago in site

Las misiones cierran todas a las 5 pm.
Possibly the most interesting missions of the San Antonio Mission Park. It reminds me of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly... I think this place was represented in a scene in that movie. - Jimmy Kastner
Simple & serene, with a nice little museum and a garden. San Juan gets a bad rap due to its simplicity. But each mission has its own character & importance, and they’re all worth visiting! - Tiffany Meinke
Great place, lots of room for the kids to run around, park close by with bike trails. - Chris Chavez
This place out of all the missions was my favorite - Martin Hutton
Tours are great, fun, informative, and calming, but no pictures please! ;) - Lilith Eden
Quirky market with lots of souvenirs to take home. Nice restaurant at the end too. - Priya Tungrus
