I can see why there is always a super long queue for this fish soup ; fish slices are thick & fresh with generous portions . Soup also very shiok !

At $5 a serving, this is truly a bowl of sliced fish soup where the fish is the main gig. Tender and succulent, the batang fish slices taste fresh, albeit a bit salty. No wonder the long queue.

Should be called fish chunks instead of slices because they're that big. Fresher than most shops. The portion is satisfying too. Best eaten with cili padi .????????

The soup is quite normal, the fish quality is quite good, the serving size is very generous. Go early (11.20 am) for shorter queuing time. Very worth the money.

Long queue but its worth it. $5 for small, $6 for medium and $7 for big size. Absolutely delicious! I would certainly recommend this to anyone especially food lovers!

I waited 25 minutes for this though I went 'earlier' at 11:45 am. Big portion and fresh for SGD5. Will try the fish head soup next time.

Fish slices are aplenty and the queue moves relatively fast. A lady will start taking pre-orders and collect money.

Very fresh fish , soup was a tad too salty. Order the $5 bowl of fish soup with 50c rice (the basic 30c rice is not enough!)

Hmm...go for Piao Ji if you are willing to queue... Soup was not flavorful and has a fishy taste. Disappointed.
