Banff Upper Hot Springs

Go early in the morning. The water is fresh and the crowds will have yet to arrive.

Wonderful place for hot natural springs visited in 1st week of may the water temperature is 40 degrees .the pool is not much big and the changing rooms are so-so

Rent the vintage/traditional bathing suits they have! They're full-bodied for men and women (and kids sizes !). They make for great photos and memories..and they'll turn some heads in the hot springs !

Up the hill to bath in the natural spa is a must.

Pay the extra for a second towel, leave it in your locker for a warm on after the swim .

Not very expensive . Great facility with lockers and showers . Just a little underwhelming when we expected something more natural and to smell minerals. It's basically just a big hot pool .

Take a bottle of water with you as you'll get dehydrated from the constant 40 degree water

Super scenic . Don't be afraid of the cold. The water is plenty hot.

It was -30outside and the hot springs were wonderful and relaxing.

Great value , leave your belongings in the car if you can.

I love coming here and relax for a couple of hours.

Open until 11pm, lockers available too. Well worth a visit!

Climb Sulfer Mountain , ride the Gondola back, then finish the day off at the hot springs ! Well worth it!

100% rent the vintage bathing suits . Total laugh!! And visit at night when the air is cool.

Always take a look over the side to see how crowded it is before you go in and pay. If crowded , wait 45 minutes. That's how long most seem to stay in there.

In Spring the water will be cooler from the snow melt

This is an iconic place, it's what made Banff a Park ( actually the original hot springs are the Cave & basin) Need to check the temperature as it is not always hot.

Too many people in a relatively small pool...

Bring some water and flip flops

Too crowded , too commercialized. Lines take forever
