The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali

The beach is great, Bring snorkeling gear and walk to the end where Black Rock is. Take the jump, its worth it. The pool area is good. I got a massage too which was amazing, but a bit pricey .

Great hotel with quick access between the amazing pools and the pools and the ocean. The only thing I'd tell you to stay away from is the Starbucks coffee at the stand near the koi pond , far from real

Surprisingly good Mai Tai 's at the beach bar . The lobby is awesome with gorgeous flamingos and a black swan idling in the water as you walk in.

Shuttle to other Westin properties (Sheraton & Villas ) every 15 min & to Lahaina every hour (at 15 min past the hour) from a designated area by the meeting rooms. Take advantage of the free ride!!!

Beautiful property. Of course, it's Maui. Friendly staff and comfy bed . Disappointed though to find out this property does not have an SPG Preferred Members Lounge .

Great place for families. It can get a little busy at times, but is a very nice place. It has a water slide too

Great place - perfect location to Whaler 's Village , Uber into Lahaina, beach , pool, etc. Spend the extra $ for ocean view . Well worth it!

Beautiful resort with great views and pools. Gym is minuscule and gets crowded quick. Needs an upgrade if they offer wellness and fitness

Go to the second level in the pool area . Two adults-only pools and the Beach Bar . Much quieter than the main pool area (no kids!).

Staff not friendly , helpful or forthcoming. Grounds beautiful. No hot tub for families. Awesome shower heads. Would book Marriott 2 hotels over next time.

Look for this guy by the pools. He hunts lizards and swallows them whole. Teach your kids about the food chain!

Stay out late so the parking lot fills up and you get free valet parking . The self-parking lot is a nightmare of impossibly tight spaces.

Starbucks in the lobby serves great granola and smoothy bowls. Enjoy while chillin by the koi pond . You can also spot celebs around the lobby at the same time.

Platinum amenity - take the continental breakfast (everything cold is included), 11 days of breakfast x 2 vs 500pts = no contest!

The birds arriving at sunset in the trees near the front desk is mesmerizing. They all arrive in pairs swooping in from the north.

If you want one if the two huge cabanas overlooking pool and ocean, I think you need to reserve a year in advance for spring break week....

Pineapple dude by koi pond gave us Cheerios to feed Newman (the black swan ) at 5:30am when we were dealing with time difference. V nice gentleman.

Great pool, lots of fun for everyone.

Tropica restaurant offers very good fresh seafood . , appetizers and desserts . The Whaler mall next door is great for shopping and a snack .

Use the cabana beach lounges for very hot days. The staff takes good care of you and you can regulate how much sun you get by being covered by the cabana.

Enjoy: koi pond and waterfall . Beware: "concierge " are really just timeshare salespeople, or in other words, land sharks

Great Resort amazing views but make sure to check out Hula Grill next door!

Check out the carp by the cafe w/ Starbucks. Staff will let kids feed the carp.

You can buy a day pass for the pools when it's not too busy.

Great property, but not a fan of the resort area

Check out the black swan , pink flamingos , and the koi. Then take the free shuttle to Lahaina.

Rooms in beach tower are away from current construction but dated. Great location though!

Don't forget to bask in the Black Swan 's greatness... He hides among the Flamingo 's.

Great boogie boarding to the left of the hotel . Hula Grill is best place to eat.

If you wait by the water, they'll let you feed the koi fish at 9:30 AM.

Great bar in the adult section.

Heavenly bed is not as heavenly as it is in other westin... Some kind of fake/cheap version of it I would say.

Try the blueberry granola bowl at the coffee bar near the lobby waterfall
