I’m impressed. The Laotian sausages are great; the nam kao is a weird and wonderful journey of textures, and the kao soy is filling and hearty. I stuck with Laotian dishes and felt rewarded for it.
After coming here a few times I'm definitely hooked. Papaya Salad Lao Style medium is the way to go. Nam Kao is my all-time favorite! Sticky rice which you eat with your hands is a must!
Best kasoy in oakland.. The kasoy here is so bomb! Also try to angel wings .
Make sure you order the angel wings with a side of sticky rice !! The Kao Piak is great for hangovers and will let the devil of you!
Get the nam khao - rice crispies and pork bits with scallion , chile, ginger , peanuts and lime juice that you wrap up with mint and cilantro in lettuce.
Papaya salad is damn spicy good!
If you like it hot, remember to ask for your food Thai spicy . Otherwise you'll be asking yourself where the heat is.
The chicken curry noodle soup and the baked sausage !!!!
Try the angel wings , papaya salad , pad thai , kao piak #16 with tamarind powder sprinkled on top, and the thai tea .
The Nam Kao appetizer is a blend of many delicious flavors.

The ambience and service were below par. The food was very average with the only good dish being the Nam Kao . The restaurant is in the middle of a residential area. Parking spots are hard to find.
