There's definitely a wait but it was worth it. staff was apologetic about the wait. They were fast upon taking orders and serving the food. Over all great place to dine. Nam Kao was really good!
Nam Kaow (fried rice ball salad ) and the Kaow soy noodle soup are my favorite here. Get the sampler if it's your first time. Delicious food but extremely slow service.
Everyone has slow service as a tip, I don't notice because the food is really great. I would recommend the mango beef , pineapple shrimp and the fried banana with coconut ice-cream.
Really flavorful! Our favorites were the rice ball salad and the larb Thai-style.
A comfort spot for my girlfriend and I. Can't enjoy regular chicken soup after having tried their chicken soups and their curry dishes are a must-try.
Really like the nam kaow (fried rice salad with lettuce cups ). Very good food, off the beaten path Oakland.
Now I got why the hell it takes so much time in a line to get in! food is delicious . We had a great with friends last night.
While you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, I could eat the rice ball salad every day all day.
I guess I don't see the hype, but my dad and grandma liked it! Must be a taste preference. It's true that the papaya salad is spicy even at mild!
Want to try the Lao style papaya salad despite the warning? Be prepared for authentic crazy fish paste . I'm sweating profusely from "medium" spiciness . Ask for iced water in advance.
Great Food! Crappy service. I've never been to a place where the wait staff acts like they are being troubled by working there. .....anyway great eats!
The fried rice ball salad and the duck curry with eggplant are both so amazing I want to cry!
Hours on yelp and foursquare are NOT accurate. Drove all the way here expecting it to be open until 9pm (as it shows) but it is closed from 3:30-5pm. Pretty annoyed.
Little neighborhood spot . Flavors are spot on. Loved the pad thai
The service was quite efficient for me...fast even. so perhaps they've changed since those earlier tips.
Stuffed Chicken Wings and Crispy Pork were outstanding!
Chicken Larb was great; try the rice balls too.
Always. The fried quail , the beef mus sa mun curry and the tilapia with cilantro sauce . Hell yes. Finish with fried banana or mango sticky rice for the win.
Fired chicken dumplings in the apps are awesome.
Hours are wrong, closed from 3.30-5pm
Try the sausages , they’re great.
Everything is wonderful
The fried spring rolls are to die for!
They were great about making my food vegetarian (no fish sauce , no oyster sauce ). Just ask!
Get here a half hour before you intend to eat! Fills up fast!
I think it was called lumpa or lulupula or something but it's salad and delicious.
Order take out and go pick it up. Otherwise you'll just wait for.ever.
Busy spot. Check in on yelp beforehand. ????
Pineapple Fried Rice ! Tom-Yum if you're feeling soupy Mango w/ sticky rice or Fried Banana w/ coconut ice cream for dessert !
The seafood pho is incredible. I always...ALWAYS get it.
Restaurant.com has gift certificates for this place but they apply the discount off the total after tax+tip so it's not as good of a deal. Food is decent for the price though.
Get the champa sampler !!!
While you're at it. Try the nam kao (fried rice ball ) it's great!
Delicious food.
Pumpkin curry is so goood!
Larb , Lao style. Not for vegetarians .
I like the disco ball. That's what does it for me.
Super good
Nam Kaow ( Fried rice ball salad ) is the best. Lao sausage and Larp
My favorite is the Seafood Pho .
I love the red curry and pad see yew
Sampler was bomb digity.
Consistently horrible service. Nice kids, but they do not know how to run a restaurant . You'll fight through it for the amazing food though.
Laos noddle soup
Food is really great here, but wait can be really long and service sub-par. Take out is a good option is you're in a hurry.
Pumpkin Curry = best thing ever.
Sampler platter !
This place is laughably slow.
Champa sampler. Just do it
