Can’t go wrong with anything on this menu - personal favorites include sautéed calamari , onion soup , the duck special, and of course the fried chicken . A+ atmosphere and service as well .

One of New York's classic late-night downtown dining destinations, but the food is excellent at all hours. Fried chicken and bone marrow are the way to go.
Obviously, try the fried chicken - as good as everyone says. Honestly, everything here tastes delicious and the staff is wonderful! The vibe is cozy and has a small neighborhood feel which I love.
Eric and Bruce Bromberg's signature dish at Blue Ribbon pairs rich, gooey bone marrow with a mixture of salty braised oxtail , vegetables , and herbs. Read more
This would be a really good meal any evening, but it deserves a Michelin star for making delicious dinners at 2 AM. Fried chicken is legendary and light on the grease. Creme brûlée yo.
Much smaller than its Brooklyn counterpart, but every bit as amazing (the pirogies, the fried chicken , the duck , the ribs , the bread pudding ). Don't leave without trying the Dead Moon cocktail .
Highly ranked place on Yelp. I loved their food, service & atmosphere but there were too many mosquitos! Mosquito magnets, please avoid going there at night. Fried chicken , roasted fish were nice!
Raw bar..then the sardines, fried oysters ,bone marrow ,steak tartare , spicy fish soup ,or a Greek Salad . Then fried chicken ,pigeon, red trout ,rack of lamb, burger ,or spicy catfish . Then the Bruno.
Oh oh Blue Ribbon! Even the vegetable kebab (I know.. but my company wanted grilled veggies ) was good. The bone marrow appetizer was as good as I remembered! Decent wine selection & nice service.
The Bromberg brothers’ take on yardbird is legendary. With its distinctive matzo meal crust, the skin is so crispy that one bite can be heard from a neighboring table. Read more
Get the fried chicken . Mashed potatoes with the perfect amount of texture, collard greens and a side if honey to dip your fried chicken with. I'm not even a huge fried food person but it was good!
On a cold day, order the Onion Soup . The bowl is as big as your head and the soup is as good as it gets. Perfect with green beans , French bread & a glass of rose '.
This restaurant started the bone marrow frenzy in NY- it's a must order! Loved everything I've tried in this restaurant- especially the Sweet and Spicy Catfish and the Rack of Lamb !
Fried oysters and fried chicken are to die for. Worth the wait and definitely worth breaking a diet for these heavenly dishes. Service is also great! Will 10000 percent be back!
Reserve a table or walk in before the 4AM closing time to avoid the wait. You'll find en extensive raw seafood bar , foie gras terrine , and matzoh ball soup .
A NYC institution. For that late night awesome bite. Best fried chicken , bone marrow , etc etc. #love - the foodie magician
This is the place if you are up late and looking for really good food and wine . Love the escargot , trout , oysters . My fave drink w oysters is the saison dupont. Really good beer
This is my most favorite restaurant ever!! I can eat there every day. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The service is wonderful and the staff is knowledgeable in what they offer.
Though still a self-proclaimed "seafood guy," Blue Ribbon has helped Carmelo Anthony become “a more adventurous eater” since landing in NYC: http://youtu.be/FSfieIPvto0
My favorite meal here - 1/2 dozen oysters , warm goat cheese salad and the bone marrow/ox tail marmalade . Maybe the Chocolate Bruno, too.
My favorites include: bone marrow , sardines, sweet breads , bbq ribs . Lively , vibey energy in the room no matter what time. You could stay for hours eating and drinking. -Alex Reznik, Top Chef
After all these years the duck breast is still probably the best in the city . Same with the fries . 🌟
I loved the foie gras terrine , marrow , and sweet breads . A solid spot for a proper late night meal!
The Beef Marrow with Oxtail Marmalade has been luring chefs for years. Chef Gabe Thompson (dell'anima, L'Artusi) picks it for "consistent food & flawless service until 4am, 7 nights a week."
Great meal. Duck sandwich was amazing. Catfish awesome. Bone marrow yes. Roast chicken great. Smoked trout was best I have ever had. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Bone marrow ! Bone marrow and more bone marrow ! I'm also told the raw seafood tower is incredible!!!
Duck club is one of the best sandwiches in the city . The bar is Katz's and this comes close.
You came to Blue Ribbon so get the bone marrow with oxtail marmalade . You'll be glad you did.
The best oysters & some of the richest rack of lamb I've ever had! Great beer selection , too.
Best place for line dinning. Order the sautéed calamari . Very tasty.
Delicious oysters . Horseradish was kinda weird but ask for hot sauce - they make their own and it's hot.
The grilled calamari is great, as is the fried chicken . I have also heard good things about the bone marrow .
Hands down still the best bone marrow in town after more than a decade.
The T=Steak tartare is top notch, also the baked oysters are cray tastaay
Best bone marrow in the city . Late night (after midnight) at its best.
Best fried chicken I've ever had!! I come here just for that and the oysters
Sit at the bar and watch as your oysters get shucked perfectly. Order a Guinness or a Sancerre , pure heaven. Most nights there is a wait so go early. Open very late.
60 Thompson concierge Paul can't get enough of Blue Ribbon's bread . He recommends the Shrimp Provençal and, of course, the fried chicken - the best in NYC.
Fried chicken with honey hot sauce mix and Lamb chops ...you won't be disappointed, but probably be craving more
Open till 4 am in the morning! Great place to go for if you find yourself hungry in the middle of the night.
Decent dinner spot in Soho, but slightly overpriced. The bone marrow appetizer is possibly the most interesting item on the menu, you should totally give it a try.
My favorite restaurant in NYC. Food, music , company & ambiance are always in sync.
Fabulous raw bar . The oysters are always fresh and delicious as is everything else.
Try hanger meat and fried chicken . Butter & bread combo is also great.
shared oysters , sardines, calamari and foie apps. delish! the duck entree was exceptional, but my creme brulee was lacking. overall, super fine late night dining .
Get the fried oysters , bone marrow , steak tartar , tofu ravioli and fried chicken
If you get the bone marrow , which you should, take home the bones to your dogs and you will be greeted as a superhero.
Smith & Mills is one of my favorite places in the city. Better to go earlier in the evening (or on a weekend or on an off-night). Otherwise, the tiny spot is packed loses charm - naveen
Make sure to get a table in back. The plates are meant for sharing. The chicken and eggs are great. - Brad Green
The sushi is perfect..any thing any type..the macha creme brulee is out of this world - Nahid Ashri
Really nice place meeting place. The few times I've been, there has been something going on. Even in the winter! - Vivian Nguyen
