Great atmosphere: old photos and vinyl on play. Only local ales and cider ; don't expect lager . There is wine . Cheese and pork baps are amazing and cheap . Simply a treasure. Major thumbs up! Cash only !

Fantastic place to enjoy stout & other beers . The place is like a classic old style tavern made of wood & a fireplace . Look out for jazz nights.

As someone that loves proper cider , this place was an absolute charm. Came here mid-week about 1pm and there were 7 still ciders and 1 perry to choose from – all divine!

This was my first pub in UK and it was just perfect. Great prices, stuff, menu and bar . 100% recommend!!

With a constantly changing selection of roughly ten beers , each one gone once the firkin runs dry, every visit is a singular, unassuming education in quality drinking.

Great selection of beers and a nice local crowd . However, gets very crowded in the evenings so don't expect to have anywhere to sit unless you're willing to wait. There's room outside though!

For those that stumble across it, they’ll quickly realise that this place likes to keep things simple, for outside an old painted sign that reads ‘Ale , Cider , Meat’… pretty straight forward, no?

Epic, yet tiny, ale and cider house. This is one of my top five pubs in the universe .

Absolutely top-notch perfect. Something like ten real ales on tap , all locally sourced . Old-school record player, outdoor toilets and an ancient chap playing the piano (very well ). Highly recommended.

Small pub , with an impressive range. Be warned though, the my don't have any fuzzy cider , if that's what you prefer, and the barmaid can't tell the difference between cider and Perry.

A marvellous pub - too exciting to go for just one pint. Everything about it is spot on and just lovely, including the friendly dog.
