One of the best (not so well known) museums in LA . Amazing selection of Impressionism artworks. Sculpture garden is beautiful too and a perfect spot to relax

Nivedita Vaidya

Wonderful museum . Be sure to set aside time for the 19th century gallery - great collection of impressionists Degas , Manet, Cézanne, Toulouse Lautrec & others

Otis College of Art and Design

Pasadena’s Norton Simon Museum has an encyclopedic collection. Don’t miss the fantastic Indian art , installed by Greg Walsh of Frank Gehry’s office , and Francesco di Giorgio Martini’s Fidelity, 1495.

Elizabeth McGonigle

Wonderful, wonderful collection spanning Impressionism to East Asian art . Be sure to not wear a large tote as they will make you check it.

Annabelle Lovell

The best place to hang out is the statue garden . It's gorgeous and serene. I also love the impressionist wing.

Sandy Scott

Fabulous museum . The Asian collection is excellent. Always enjoy the Degas and 19th and 20th century work.

Ben J. DITZEL

Very nice museum ; very large for the area and has some really famous pieces of art as well as some ancient statues (c. 1st century).

Francis Unson

Bookmark their website and add their socials so you can keep up with rotating exhibitions .

Jason

In order to park here on Free First Fridays , you’ll need to get here 30 minutes early (4:30PM). If you arrive after 5PM, don’t expect to get a parking spot .

Chris Go

Get the audio tour . Many of the items have descriptions for kids, which adults will enjoy too. It's only $3.

Naomi Trujillo

Try to ignore the rather overbearing guards to enjoy one of the best collections in California. Gorgeous lighting and surroundings!

Julie

Not too big, but a great way to spend the afternoon. Great selection of art .

Luis Manalo

My favorite is the "The Geographer" who looks upon its viewers with disdain.

Oscar Fajardo

Great collection. Vincent Van Gogh paintings .

Absolutely NO Food or Drinks inside the building! Even baby formula! That's absolutely ridiculous but you can go outside to their garden cafe for a decent meal that's highly over priced instead. :/

????

Please don't let your kids run around like savages here. The employees are not your nannies. Thank you.
