Wonderful museum . Be sure to set aside time for the 19th century gallery - great collection of impressionists Degas , Manet, Cézanne, Toulouse Lautrec & others
Amazing gem of an extensive art collection ,hidden in an modernist building. Check the gardens .
Pasadena’s Norton Simon Museum has an encyclopedic collection. Don’t miss the fantastic Indian art , installed by Greg Walsh of Frank Gehry’s office , and Francesco di Giorgio Martini’s Fidelity, 1495.
Wonderful, wonderful collection spanning Impressionism to East Asian art . Be sure to not wear a large tote as they will make you check it.
The best place to hang out is the statue garden . It's gorgeous and serene. I also love the impressionist wing.
Fabulous museum . The Asian collection is excellent. Always enjoy the Degas and 19th and 20th century work.
Very nice museum ; very large for the area and has some really famous pieces of art as well as some ancient statues (c. 1st century).
Bookmark their website and add their socials so you can keep up with rotating exhibitions .
In order to park here on Free First Fridays , you’ll need to get here 30 minutes early (4:30PM). If you arrive after 5PM, don’t expect to get a parking spot .
Get the audio tour . Many of the items have descriptions for kids, which adults will enjoy too. It's only $3.
Try to ignore the rather overbearing guards to enjoy one of the best collections in California. Gorgeous lighting and surroundings!
Not too big, but a great way to spend the afternoon. Great selection of art .
My favorite is the "The Geographer" who looks upon its viewers with disdain.
Great collection. Vincent Van Gogh paintings .
Been here it's a really nice museum especially the sculpture garden outside.
Wonderful SMALL museum . The one you see on the Rose Parade broadcast every year.
Loved it all...get the Turkey Brie sandwich for lunch !
This woman in a pic will kill u with her boobs and eyes and even if u die in back yard no one will know wtf happened to u..
I swear there’s more guards here than the Getty. ????
Great collection. Better than Getty. Love the 19th and 20th sections.
Great selection of impressionist , post-impressionist, pointillist, and cubist art .
Fantastic collection. Make sure to tout the sculpture garden . A beautiful setting.
The sculpture garden is the best.
