The broth is not like other restaurants , in general super salty , but really flavourful and the egg was mind blowing ! I think they have added some extra sauce on it. Definitely worth waiting for it!

Estelle Hallak

Everything is fantastic from the flavours to the presentation. But i have to say by far one of my favourite would be the Lobster special ! Its a must try as well as the grilled mackerel

Naz Haz

Tuna salmon bowl consists of tuna salmon tartar , rice , salad and crispy rice on top. Its a great choice. Shrimp burger has its own fans as well . Try either green tea , wasabi or sake ice cream .

Elma SuyumBitmis

eat here as many times as u can so that u try everything. grilled mushroom salad is divine, as well as 48 hr pork , shrimp burger , tofu salad , okonomiyaki , and definitely sake ice cream . worth waiting.

Rental Homes Canada

The menu: From their grilled tuna belly , spicy mayo shrimp burger , or 48hr pork on rice (go with the pork ), then washing it all down with a rare yuzu draught beer , mixed w/ Japanese citrus . Go there!

Vanessa Yy

Order this grill portobello mushroom ! I used to hate this place because of their small dinning area and it’s so hot sitting inside especially when it’s summer. This dish make me want to come back!

Freddy Tu

Be patient, the wait is worth it. They make killer ramen , potentially the best in town . They also make a mean tuna & salmon bowl and other authentic japanese dishes . Closed on Tuesday though.

Stephanie C

The gold at the end of the rainbow is Kazu. 48 hr pork delish, tuna salmon bowl another fav of mine. Don't forget desert . The most amazing ice cream on the planet. Also nice to sit by the kitchen :)

Patrice Bauduhin

I love everything about this place. Tiny joint with a lot of character, great service and mouthwatering Japanese dishes you probably haven't tried elsewhere. Tuna-salmon bowl is a good starting point.

L. Q.

The fuss is real: probably one of the best japanese in Montreal. Be prepared to wait at least 30min to be seated. You will be upset for waiting, but you’ll end up happy with your food and bill.

Camille Martel

Tried out the Japanese style bibimbap with beef rib ... It'd give a genuine Korean bibimbap a run for its money! Tender meat that melts in your mouth and delicious sauce.

Mustafa Mistioui

Omg the best food I have ever had in my life the food and service are exceptional the owner and chef is awesome best energy ever the line up is a testimony to how good the food is ..

Stephanie Cheng

Get there early to avoid the lineup or for those close by, call ahead and order the tuna salmon bowl to go! Fresh sashimi and mouthwatering kazu sauce!

Small good relatively inexpensive Japanese, conveniently located in the downtown Concordia University area. Usually quite a wait and lots of students. A place to have quick good value Japanese

Madhawi G

You can never go wrong with this place 👍🏼 a bit expensive but you're paying for quality food and big portions . Best pillowy tofu I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

Natasha Ogrodnik

Went there for my birthday with my parents. Waited outside for a bit, which I didn't mind. Small, cozy place, with a loud cheerful atmosphere and delicious food. I'll be coming here again.

Tai

Authentic Japanese restaurant in Montreal. The salmon bowl is wonderful. May need to queue but it is worth.

Selvaria Bles

Sit at the counter and enjoy a savoury bowl of ramen underneath the cool air conditioner! There's nothing quite like it! Reminds me a lot of the ramen shops I went to while in Japan!

Jonathan Blair

Long wait (about 30 minutes) but worth every second. Got the oysters , dumplings , and tuna bowl . It was the best Japanese food I have ever had. Recommended 200%

Dania Bdeir

Grilled calamari , toro sashimi , lamb chops , beef galbi , salmon and tuna tartar , seafood ceviche , off the menu fries and chef special sea bass

Ashley Whalen

So much amazing Japanese food crammed into one tiny location. Get there right for open time otherwise you'll have to wait. Turnover is quick though, so no worries if you do.

Jeff K

You'll wait a while In line every time. Worth every minute every time. Very very small place. Not sure how to pronounce what I eat but I can say I've tried half the menu and loved it all!!.

Vanessa Yy

My friend bought me here and order this for me he says this is a must try, grilled lamb with salads but I find it too salty😹 and I don’t really like red meat.

Dania Bdeir

wow one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. All amazing . I want to try every single dish! The chef is a genius

Carole Guevin

The bass is incredible + bowl of tuna+salmon salad . Long wait . Small joint. Quite an experience. No reservation . Bar seating best.

Antoinette Marie

Amazing food! Get the Shrimp Burger , but everything there is amazing. Don't skip out on the dessert , the ice cream is amazing!

Jennifer Benevenga

The tuna & salmon bowl is amazing, like nothing like I've ever had before. The green tea ice cream was to die for! This place exceeded my expectations!

Lorena

Edamames , chicken gyozas sashimi , green tea ice cream ! Great service. All good. It is worth the waiting line :)

Sharon Zhang

For great, creative Japanese dishes , come here. The wait is quite long, so lunchtime during weekdays or 30 min before opening time is the best.

Mo Ky

Very good place and staff is very friendly ! Had the Teriyaki burger ! Delicious

H M Tan

Portion is a bit big for Asian. The food is at best a fusion of western and Japanese cuisine. For salad and cold disk, mayonnaise was used extensively. Very popular among non-Japanese.

Ashleigh Gardner

Everyone raves about the tuna and salmon bowl , but the highlight for me was the tofu and kimchi salad . Skip the shrimp burger .

Mandana

Amazing, definitely try salmon & tuna bowl 👍🏼

Carole Guevin

Japanese fusion . Plating out of this world. Must: whole bass + salmon tuna salad . Portions can be shared.

Daniel Roy

Fantastic, no-frills Japanese in a crowded , happy place. Worth the long wait .

Marie La Rue

Worth waiting in line for. Ask to sit at the bar and witness the chef 's culinary savoir-faire.

Lucinda Fortin

The ramen are the best in town . Any kind is good!!!

Norah Khaled

I tried different dishes but the tuna and salmon bowl is the best!

Charles Gedeon

Get the tuna belly . It's phenomenal and it's a great dish to share for 2 people! Very filling, exquisite flavour.

Hina

The tuna/salmon salad bowl was really good! More salad than rice , but it was still filling.

Desiree

Delicious Japanese home-style meals. Amazing pan fried dumplings . Quick service . No reservations . Worth the small wait.

CI Sand

Best traditional japanese restaurant in mtl. The ramen or the 48h pork are really delicious and cheap .

Jessica

Beat the line up by ordering take out . Their food is so tasty!

Maryam Gharib

For Montrealers out there who love seafood it's a must to try this phenomenon restaurant 😍

Yuki Sasaki

Different Japanese-based cuisine. It's not TOO cheap , but for Japanese it's definitely affordable :)

Scott Ryan

Best Japanese Pub in Montreal. Hit it up at lunch time for the most authentic Ramen in Montreal

Kevin Seto

Get the shrimp burger . Delicious!
