Pretty severe erosion over the last year or so. Generally a great place to body surf or boogie board ; but there are now huge rocks (some stay hidden underwater) in the middle of the beach . Stay alert!
Swim or paddle out to the reef just north (to the right) of the beach for awesome snorkeling and usually a turtle or three. Cheaper than a Molokini trip and just as good!
Great beach . Quiet and lovely for watching the sunset . Right outside the Fairmont Kea Lani.
Really soft sand and some naturally shaded spots makes this beach one of the better in the area.
