Beautiful park with a winding path that stretches for miles through the woods and wetland - perfect place to get out and run. Also has a pretty cool herd of elk !
Great place to take the family, you can walk, bike , fish , kayak , and you can even rent boats or kayaks .
Worth the detour if you're in the area. Visited twice. Once the elk were not in view while the other time they were right at the fence . If you have spare time take advantage of the paved trails .
Zealous yet bored forest preserve police will ticket your car as you run up to it if you get back from the trail past sundown as the elk snicker at you.
Lovely place, friendly elk . Go around dusk and they're most likely near the fence .
