I love Calpico (a non-carbonated Japanese soda ) that is sold here! It’s fun browsing all the candy and trying new kinds. There’s also a Japanese movie and game shop tucked behind the food court .
Food court is great for lunch . Bring cash! Most of the stalls don't take plastic.
Besides amazing ramen it has wide & affordable selection of Asian ingredients and spices. I often buy udon noodles , rice cakes and chili spices from here for breakfast and lunch dishes . A must visit!
I highly recommend getting the spicy tonkatsu udon from the udon place. Save room for dessert , the boba tea/ice cream stall makes a fabulous green tea parfait you won't want to share!
Lovely refrigerated goods selection and all the sauces you could ever need. Can be a little pricy , but pretty much everything is great quality imports. You get what you pay for.
Go to the Pastry House Hippo nook in the back & grab the softest, tastiest, freshest bread--Shokupan--right off the baker racks (in 3 thickness choices).
This place is absolutely amazing for everything Japanese. The food is amazing, a huge selection of Japanese figures, manga , plushes... A giant marketplace with tons of candy and Japanese goods.
Absolutely amazing selection of Asian restaurants , especially for being in the suburbs of Illinois. Love going to get ramen from Santouka and picking up food from the grocery attached to it.
The bakery towards the end of the grocery is a hidden gem , selling pastries filled with creamy chocolate as well as the best tuna sandwiches ever. Also, fruit sandwiches .
Excellent food court , incredible selection of imported sauces, and a lovely counter of tsukemono. Fridge udon has replaced cup noodles as my lazy-food thanks to this place. My arteries thank them.
Great selection of food. The only place I've ever found grapefruit hi-chew (the best flavor)
Newly opened fast food serves tempura (shrimp , white fish , chicken ) and comes with tempura veggie and soft boiled egg .
The best place for the freshest & widest variety of sushi & Asian food & ingredients! Fun to explore!
They have a food court here from selections of Korean food to Japanese food . Most of them are cash only so make sure you have some cash beforehand.
Special Toroniku Shio Ramen : the regular bowl features pork belly , but an upgrade for toroniku is an absolute must.
The pork cheek in the ramen from Santouka is out of control. Highly recommended.
Always fun to poke through the groceries and see something new. Sampled delicious Wagyu beef - too bad it's $89.99/lb.
Extensive array of cooking ingredients and groceries . If you can't find things, try the customer service desk, super helpful!
if you're ever shopping late at Mitsuwa & want some sushi , head down the street to Kinta Sushi . Mitsuwa usually runs out by 7. Kinta has a full menu & excellent service! + sake !!!
I cannot believe it took me this long to visit this place. I feel like I'm walking through Tokyo's Narita Airport ...AMAZING. Pick-up fresh made sushi and the cashiers have soy sauce and wasabi .

An old favorite. The ramen is amazing. Visit the bakery for delicious chocolate-filled treats.
Very interesting stuff including candy , beverages, a bakery , dishes, cookware, a bookstore , and much more.
Bring at least $10 cash for the food court . They don't take cash and ATM fee is $3. Also good luck finding a seat during lunchtime, it's super busy!
Bring cash! The person who left the tip about using the gift certificate at the food court is an idiot! You can't use it for anything else other than Mitsuwa company owned shops. Not the food court .
Bibimbap from Mama house is excellent. And the pork buns from the Dimsum place are delicious
Amazing Japanese market . Fresh, friendly and festive . Definitely a must stop for Asian groceries .
What's not to like? Grocery , bookstore , liquor store , food court , and bakery .
This place is amazing all around for the food court , the sushi , and the groceries . Love picking up Pokka Milk Coffee and some daifuku.
If you're going to buy SUSHI or the BENTOS, bring it to the cashiers and pay for it there. Soy sauce , wasabi and ginger is given to you there as well !
The food court seating is a clusterfuck because of inconsiderate people who take up a 4 top with 2 people, take forever to eat, etc.
It's like a village inside a town that nobody knows about and it's nice fun and different!
Amazing!!! Cheap & great tasting sushi !! Arrive before noon for best selection.
This "world of Japan" is a fun adventure...groceries and great food court .
Awesome deals on fresh sushi , also stop in the food court for a quick bite
Apparently the food court at Mitsuwa is not BYOB despite the fact that the liquor store sells chilled ready-to-drink mini sake bottles. The guard will yell at you if you try to have sake with lunch .
