Governor’s House Cultural Center and Museum

Government House located at 48 King St., is a stately Georgian Style stone mansion facing the 410-year old Plaza in the center of St. Augustine and occupies the site that throughout the colonial period (1565-1821) housed the residence and office of the colonial governors of Florida.

There new exhibit on the beginnings of the St. Augustine settlement was really nice! It had so much detail and information....loved it!

Great time to go here early so there would be less people. Gets crowded towards late afternoon. Would love to go back here everytime I visit St. Augustine. You could spend an hour or so. - John Garcia
