The menu features a lot of grilled and roasted meats , as well as homemade pastas , salads , and charcuterie items. Appetizers are priced in the low teens, and most of the entrees are in the mid 20s. Read more

Nice, intimate restaurant . I'm not a fan of the close seating arrangements, but we sat on the end and it was fine. The food was delicious! The Rabbit Cavatelli was delicious!

Christina Chin

Make ur own bennie with arancini was so filling! Bearnaise sauce is best i think. Fries were also delish and it looks like a big resto to take big brunch groups. Full bar inside

Abhishek Pillai

Cocktails were great, ambiance was great. Service was slow but friendly . The fusilli was very bland. But the fish stew special was great! And so was the shared plate dips

Paige C

I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service and food at Tessa. The presentation of each plate was more impressive as they kept coming. I highly recommend the duck . Perfect date spot .

Octane

Burger is freakin AMAZING! I guess they make the bun with pizza dough !? Cocktails are delicious. Music and ambiance are very sexy. Bartender , Cory, is the bomb!

Andrea Barrezueta

Really cute restaurant 'hidden' in the UWS. Not bcs its up there but bcs its being hidden by an awful awning! Really worthy find. Brunch was great and the place is really well designed.

Bitches Who Brunch

The Bitches Say: A. Everything was well executed and on point. The green juices and Bloody Marys were delightful, but we had to wait a bit for refills. Read more

The burrata was good, and the creamed spinach was literally perfect. Staff is attentive without hovering, and sitting at the bar is a surprisingly pleasant experience.

Erika Blumberg

I really liked the octopus and the tomato salad . My husband loved the monkfish and my stepmother loved the fish tagine . Looking forward to returning.

Trae F

Really like this place. Service great and very friendly . Great bar . Food excellent. Try the pork belly .

Krista Ruhe

Fabulous addition to the UWS. They have some kinks to work out like an extremely slow service bar . But overall beautiful, lively atmosphere and food exceeded expectations.

Kim Kendrick

Tessa is great! Tip: Sit at the bar and see if Adrian (the head mixologist is there) he might just make you something super special!

Natalie Pacheco

The build your Bennie eggs Benedict option is great, and the shrimp roll , better than any lobster roll

Pam R.

Great new spot on UWS. Pass on the dips for the appetizer , octopus was ok, beets were great. Pastas for the main course are the best bet.

Joshua

Consistently great. Try the vesper martini , the octopus appetizer , the brie special appetizer , and the rabbit cavatelli .

JoAnne Kao

Love everything here must get The bombolonis

Swati Doshi

A fabulous new spot on the UWS - loved the focaccia , burrata , and linguini . Can't wait to go back again!

Madalyn McKay

The food is wonderful, lovely atmosphere and the staff is attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommended.

Matthew Spector

Basque and classical Spanish food given a modern take. Upper West Side deliciousness and beautiful decor.

Rick Hanley

Amazing people and service, along with a really creative menu. A great addition to the UWS!

Robert S

Rabbit cavatelli was scrumptious! Go with a bottle for better wines . Carmel corn at the end was a sweet finish.

Jeff Solomon

I liked half of the items ordered — recommend the burrata and drunken mussels . The leek and potato soup was below average, as was the burger

Ben R

The small pasta serving is still pretty sizable. Scallop risotto and rabbit cavatelli both excellent.

Andy Chapman

Burrata , spring salad and rabbit cavatelli are great. So is a bottle of Rosé to help it down!

Brigette K.

Beer was a tad expensive but the selection was good and had a large bar area. The bar tender (Dominic I think?) was the best

Elizabeth Maiuolo

Get the ahi tuna sandwich (with the brioche !)

Scallops with lemon and pea risotto . Rich and flavorful.

The Boulevardier vintage cocktail is sweet and bitter at once. Nice!
