Great layout of the restaurant . The place looks good and You should too! The bathroom area/ wine cellar is a nice touch. Anything and everything on the menu is kickass. Those desserts are to die for.

Daniel Boulud

Perfect spot for a tasty Mediterranean meal. My favorites include the mezze , octopus and tagine . Save room for dessert , the grapefruit givré is one of the best desserts in New York!

Eater

Boulud Sud is a rare Southern European spot to remember that the Mediterranean extends to North Africa and the Levant, serves great harira (Moroccan lentil soup ) and chicken tagine . Read more

The lamb burger is a very rich and tasty choice for brunch . Get the sunny side egg with it if you dare. The burger quickly turns into a mess if you do. A delicious, delicious mess.

Rebecca Gishkariany

Been twice now, both were during restaurant week . Amazing food & service. Truly worth the prices & even better if grab a booking during restaurant week . Must get the mocha cube for dessert .

Nikita Turkin

Fantastic atmosphere. Great value for money given how much food you get. And very attentive service . Only downside is that lots of waiters by the kitchen which spoils the view a bit.

The most wonderful section on the menu may just be the desserts , which include a grapefruit stuffed with citrus ice and all sorts of other goodies, capped with caramel . Read more

So delicious and an amazing restaurant week find bc they include their most popular dishes (for a few extra bucks). The octopus was seriously life changing

Of the three Daniel Boulud restaurants around the corner, this is the best. Try the beautiful ratatouille with a poached egg on top and make sure to save room for dessert (seriously, do it).

Lunch , dinner or just drinks is great. Room is pretty w clean lines . Sit at the bar , more fun than a table or sit outside. Moroccan chicken tagine and a glass of prosecco .

Eater

A solid choice for date night on the UWS, or a meal before a show at Lincoln Center. Even the most exotic dishes like the zaatar baked cod have that signature Boulud touch. [Eater 38 Member]

Amazing Mediterranean restaurant . I have been here a few times for both Dinner and Lunch and don’t miss on any visit to NYC. Wine list is also fantastic.

Alp Ozcelik

Great presentation, tasty food; poor service. Waited so long between each course! But DEFIBITELY get the crab&urchin tartine and the linguini . Paella ok (scallops great!) grapefruit givree AMAZING!

Mom: “Let’s come back for brunch every Sunday! I’ll order the exact same thing.” Me: “I’m game. We’ll sit by the window and read the morning paper.”

The Food Sluts

Excellent Mediterranean cooking. Upscale , so wear a button down shirt . A lot of theater goers. Moderately expensive . We loved the Persian spiced day boat scallops ($32). Read more

Dipping oil and sauce for the bread was delicious! Loved my octopus starter, the artichoke side, pumpkin ravioli and grapefruit dessert . Not so crazy about the swordfish .

Monika McMahon

Oh my goodness, everything here was fantastic. They have gluten free options to pair with the hummus and the salt baked fish for two is a must!

Garrison Price

Awesome ever changing menu . Sit at the bar and hang with the tenders. Order the crudo du jour and the pasta du jour, you will not be disappointed!

Tash Concepcion

Try the Pimenton Spiced Steak and Eggs . It's phenomenal. Also good: Peekytoe Crab Tartine and the Lebanese "Awamat" Doughnuts . Save some of the doughnuts for dessert though!

Nancy Ackenhausen

Come after a Lincoln Center performance , snag a seat at the bar (no reservations req'd) and get the trio of house made ice creams . Rose is amazing!

If you ate a meal that changed your life, you probably had it here. Be blown away by the Octopus a la Plancha and the Lamb Loin. Go early for the Pre-Theater menu.

Mallie T

Finishing off your meal with a grapefruit dessert is a must - you really can't say you've eaten here until you've tried it!

TOWN&COUNTRY

Specializing in lamb and grilled whole fish , this luncheon spot sits next to Épicerie Boulud, a great spot for all of your breads , soups , and charcuterie , that turns into an oyster bar come nightfall.

Wayne Yap

Great Mediterranean meals. Flavored just right. The Brussels sprouts were salted and roasted perfectly.

Karen Yuen

The stuffed sole special was delicious, but the sides fell below expectations. The cauliflower was way over salted and we didn't realize that the "wild mushrooms " is actually a creamy farro risotto ...

Sameepa Shetty

Best place to dine on the upper west. Brunch or dinner ,make sure to get the bronzino & Mediterranean platter . A visit to chef Sud's kitchen is always blissful.

Harumi U

Every dish I tried to date has their own take and full flavor though very light and refreshing. Just one thing - half of restaurant week menu us supplementary price

Susan J Campbell

Nice place for a pre performance dinner . Waitress had good wine knowledge . Roasted cauliflower really special. Fun crowd. Mixed age. Lively

Everything is so flavorful! Love the octopus and lamb flatbread . Sit outside and become part of this great neighborhood

If you’ve never tried Octopus before-let this be your first taste. The Octopus a la Plancha served w/ marcona almonds , arugula and jervez vinegar is perfectly balanced in both taste + texture

From service - variety and quality this restaurant is stellar and understand the importance of meeting a clients expectations. It was a beautiful experience

Watch out - this cooked Octopus a La Plancha will take you out of your world. The delicate marcona almonds , arugula , and jerez vinegar made from Sherry wine goes wonderfully with the octopus ’ texture

Rodrigo Narciso G da Silva

This place was good but not outstanding in general. I had the ricotta ravioli with truffles . And the pistachio pavlova . Both very good but not life changing.

Tasting Table

Don't miss the Mediterranean Greek-Yogurt Parfaits loaded with whole-wheat couscous , dried apricots , toasted pistachios and pomegranate seeds . You can even recreate at home: http://bit.ly/ydglew

Great octopus aka plancha ! But everything I have tried here so far has always been good.
