The nearby children's museum is a great place to take kids. Just beware of the climbing structure in the lobby. We nicknamed it the "2 hour tower" because that's how long it took to talk our son out.
On Summer Street near the bridge ? Take a right down these stairs and it cuts through to the Children's Museum and Barking Crab !
