One of the best and fun museums I've ever been too! Be a part of history as you throw tea overboard and do a tea tasting

BU Today

This unique floating museum allows visitors to learn about the events that led to the American Revolution as well as become a part of the action by helping to re-create the events of the Tea Party. Read more

The tour is fun and entertaining as well as informative. The guides are great. You can learn a lot and then drop by Abigail’s tea room and taste the tea you just threw over board.

Mark Sullivan

A well done look at an important historical moment in American history. The facilities are top notch the story well told, the enactors are talented and well informed about the nuances of the events .

Robert Forto

One of the best tours we have ever attended! You think you know the story but this is the rest of it!

Tone

A must! Excellent actors inject humour and humanity into an exciting and educational visit that manages to avoid any schmaltzy overly patriotic Americana. A real "must-do" on a visit to Boston.

Erik Cintron

An interactive and historical museum of the events the night of Boston tea party. Starts with a town meeting ur part of. Then a tour around the ships and throw some tea and then watch history unfold

Dayna C

Live out your Revolutionary fantasies by boarding a trade ship and tossing some tea into the Hahbah. Then sample said teas for a bottomless flight of the 5 that steeped in the bay …

Harumi U

Everything about this place us cute (albeit its history...yes you learn that too). You must spend some time here. Gift shop , tea place, a ship museum .

Zara Farrar

Excellent tour . The perfect blend of history and entertainment. I'm not normally a fan of tours with actors but this one really works and is always fun.

James Gooch

The guides are so enthusiastic I felt like I wanted to start an actual revolt against the oppressors in 2019...and I’m British and love tea .

Tori Billings

Cool reenactments ! More of a little kid thing to do though. But if you want to focus on the history side of things then its really cool.

Meg Berman

Huzzah ! No taxation without representation! Reenact the incident that ignited a revolution by tossing tea into Boston Harbor . Keep an eye out for Tavern Nights at Abigail Adam's tea room .

Amit Jha

One of the most entertaining history lessons you will get. Live reenactment with actors that interact with the audience to make you feel like you were there.

Aleta Ewing

Best guided tour I've seen and completely worth every penny! We had lots of fun and would gladly do it all over again. Thanks!

Jeremy Krantz

This museum is on a permanently docked boat. They will let you throw some tea in the harbor as you shout 'Huzzah !'

Amanda Forrester

Best museum I’ve been to. Hands down.

If coming from outside downtown on T. Don't try to take trains all the way to south station nearby. Just goto aquarium and walk along waterfront in a breeze to stay cool compared to heat in T stations

Steven Doyle

Awfully cheesy in places - but delivered with a perfect tongue in cheek style - worth an hour of your time 😊

Michael Sales

It's a bit (ok a lot) cheesy, BUT...entertaining! Pricewise it's a bit expensive . We go free (ish) tickets when we purchased a one day pass with Old Town Trolley Tours .

James C

Amazing experience a must do when in Boston. Staff is amazing and really into giving you the best.

Gerald Rhead

Fun stop. Actors do a nice job. Reminded me of what it feels like to be patriotic! Price of admission is included in the Trolley Tour ticket.

Carl Griffin

Interesting insight to the lead up to the Boston tea party and the revolutionary war that followed.

Tessa Cucullu

Get the bottomless cup and try all five of the flavors of tea that were thrown into the harbor .

Great entertainment and history lesson. The people are very nice as well .

Really well-done museum with lots of multimedia and interactivity .

Great view into History
