Kitsilano Beach

Just a short walk away from Granville Island . Perfect beach to bring your two legged and four legged family. Basketball court , huge grass area , playground , and, of course, the beach !

Summer time fun. Not the best but definately the easiest to get to. Honestly this place and a Beach blanket are prochoice around sunset . Free parking around the neighborhood and close to pubs .

Beautiful beach ! Just bring your bathing suit and you'll find yourself having the best time. It also has the city 's only saltwater pool during the summer!

Great neighborhood . Volleyball nets. Walked along the ocean from Downtown Vancouver along the seawall. Took 4 hours round trip - discovered secret havens!

For me this is the best place in downtown Vancouver to hangout, play, walk, swim and enjoy the sun. Sunsets there are beautiful and occasionally nice food trucks

Regardless of the over-crowding and chauch factor - this beauty of a spot is one of the highlights of Vancouver west coast awesomeness.

If you plan on drinking on the beach (and by drinking I mean boozing), bring those red Beer cups, or for the truly prepared, get some Starbucks coffee cups with lids, and enjoy.
