Lotsa food & stalls tho prices higher than in other areas. Yummy clam chowder . Great weekend family hang but can be crowded & full parking . Nice to sit out with view of bridges .
A great date place or a good place to go on a sunny day. Go for a stroll through the markets and get some treats - enjoy them by the water. Afterwards, head over to the Kids Market for some games.
Come early, leave your car behind, and take ferry from the mainland. A must-see when you come down to visit Vancouver. Local artisanal crafts, food, desserts , coffee , bakeries , and fresh produce .

If the weather is good, grab something wonderful for lunch and sit outside in the sun, take in the view , relax to the singer/guitarist, and appreciate this beautiful place. Loved Granville Island !
Much bigger than I thought! Lots of good produce, snacks , and Canadian tourist attractions . The public market gets crowded af but it’s all part of the experience.
It might seem like Pier 39 from a distance, but there's a lot more local flavor and character on this island . Totally worth visiting and walking from end to end, and parking is free.
A must-visit in Vancouver. Take a ferry (super cheap ) and enjoy an afternoon eating your way around the market . The pickles are incredible!
Nothing says tourist like you on this island . But it's an obligatory stop in Vancouver. Wonderful walking around and people watching . Great shops.
It's just amazing that places like this actually exist on Earth. It's interesting, delicious, live and always refreshing. A go-to place when visiting Vancouver!
Many shops and places to eat. Lots of traffic and very crowded . Many places to lock up a bike . Too crowded for us to eat there. Nice to see. Maybe go during the week. We went on a Sunday.
One of the best Markets I have been too... Fresh produce . Get some food and head to the waterfront for a picnic ... #Qualityvistas
You can buy here anything, have a delicious lunch and if you are lucky enough to come during farmer's market , you can sample some grat local produce .
my family was 1 of the original farmers who helped to open the Farmer's Market at Granville Island , many of u may remember "Big Mama" who always gave the best deals & knew everyone, miss u Big Mama
Marketplace & restaurants with little gift shops along the alleys. Lots of options if you are hungry - French, Thai, Indian, Japanese, you name it. If you plan on eating outside, beware of the birds.
Hit up Terra Bakery and order the red pepper spinach asiago focaccia . Mine came right out of the oven and it was so good!

Out the back doors near the ferry docks is a wide open area with border benches . The sun beats down, warm, and shielded from the wind. Another great spot to read The Globe. Find one in the market !
Fresh food from LowerMainland & BC. Get just about any cooked food item to take outside; watch ppl, 2bridges, boats, waters of FalseCreek, & nearby mountains . Be wary of pesky hungry pigeons & gulls
A massive selection of different cuisines to try. Awesome for a breakfast or lunch !
Don't forget to get some amazing tea ! And also, if you sit outside on the benches , watch out for the birdies! Those seagulls love food just as much as you do
