Avoid Lao Fu Zi in the same hawker centre, this one is way more legit. Uncle fries meticulously so just be patient and wait if there is a queue. Get the $4 portion as the prawns are big and fresh!
Love the dish. Prawn and cockles inside are very yummy. Nice wok hei
He’s cooking one by one dish, so please be patient ❤️
Comparing Dong Ji (DJ ) with Lao Fu Zi 01-12. DJ has more 'wok hei ', not as wet, more favours, Chinese sausage grainier
Auntie does it plate by plate, so be prepared to wait!
Still be my most favorite 😍
It's definitely better than Lao Fu Zi but not worth the long queue imo
Great wok hei , and the best CKT at Old Airport Road
Cha kway teow the old fashioned style. Chili is damn Shiok . If open must try!
Only open from morning to lunchtime. Better than the Lau Fu Zi!
Unbelievably good from a grouchy uncle :p
Black face uncle never disappoint me.
Its signature char kway teow (stir-fried rice cake strips) is served up with a medley of cockles, Chinese sausage and crunchy bean sprouts - Sikander Lhote
Impressed with the 'lor' (sauce). Smooth, fragrant, light. They use authentic toppings like shredded fish meat & sliced braised pork - Cheen The Curious
It’s one of the best Hokkien Mee I had. Not too soggy. Love it. A bit long queuing - Sawit K.
Go for the Premium Char Siew. It's one of the best char siew you can find in a hawker centre. - Song
Easy and good. Worth going because the TWO Michelin’s guide noodle places are right across from each other. - Juberish Gibberish
