If u look at the queue at LFZ & compare similar stall around. You will know it is worth waiting.
Comparing with Dong Ji 01-138. Chilli has a good kick, less 'wok hei ', wetter, Chinese sausage more refined, pricier yet less ingredients ????
Its signature char kway teow (stir-fried rice cake strips) is served up with a medley of cockles , Chinese sausage and crunchy bean sprouts
Not one of my go-to foods, but their char kway teow is considered okay. Fans of spicy food will be glad to know they can whip up quite the spicy order!
Wonder why the queue, dun taste better than the rest of the fried kway teow stores in the market . No so called 'Wok' taste.
A really hot flame + good chili makes this Kway Teow super yummy! The aunty also looks very friendly =) Read more
Yummy fried kway teow Worth trying!
The lard is great!
I personally think that tis char kway teow is 60/100 only, as i expect the taste to be better because of the queqe, but it is not wat i expected.$3 is worth as portion big n lot of (clams )is wat i like
The fried kway teow tasted pretty mediocre. There was no “wok hei ” and you could probably get something similar in any food court .
I personally think the taste of this Char Kway Teow is just 60/100, as i think to have such a queqe it should have taste good, but not as tasty as
Good Char Kway Teoh!
Definitely overrated.
The queue is long.
$3 portion is large and tasty! With many 'hum'
Juicy hum :D 8/10
The stall is right in the centre @ #01-12
the hums are juicy!
Meh at best
Above average fried kway tiao. Not worth the queue time.
Kinda overhyped.
Try the original flavor beancurb. It's the best I've ever tried. - Aaron Teng
Impressed with the 'lor' (sauce). Smooth, fragrant, light. They use authentic toppings like shredded fish meat & sliced braised pork - Cheen The Curious
Noodle is springy, Char Siew is tasty, Wanton is yummy and Chili is spicy (yes, it’s spicy). Overall it is delicious ???? photo is $4 - Sawit K.
Excellent prawn hor fun. Not cheap but the small at $24 is enough for 4-5 pax (1 small bowl each). Special fried chicken w prawn is gd 2! - pin lee
the soup is crazy awesome! light and peppery. the meat is tender and oh-Yums! refills please! great place if you really enjoy bkt soup. - Thomasina Owch
Amazing kway teo - not too spicy, has cockles and lard. Delicious - Kit&kafoodle
Lao Ban Soya Beancurd - Unique taste! Extremely smooth n light texture! Must try! - Alycia
The rich flavor and sweetness of the broth comes mainly from the pork ribs. Simply delicious with just the right touch of prawny goodness. (For a prawn-ier broth, try the other stall with long queue) - Edd
