Their wantans here have chopped water chestnuts . Adds sweet & crunchy dimensions to each bite
Cannot make it. Nightly queue might be due to Eric Khoo's recommendation, or that it's 1 of 3 foodstalls open. Char siew (BBQ pork ) tasted plain. Saving grace was wantans; authentically old skool
The sauce, the very lean roast pork and the slurpy wonton with crunchy water chestnut inside all make for a fairly unique tasting noodle experience. Just ask the long queues every night!
Totally agree with 4SQ user Cheen. Noodles and char siew cannot make it!! Wantons are the only nice bits. Will NOT be back, I would rather have McDonald's at nearby Ridout Tea Garden (24h) for supper.
A dinner/supper spot, just like Koka @ North Bridge Rd FC
must try! best dumpling noodles i had in singapore!
Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Used to be great. Standards declining precipitously. Disappointing. Open till late (3am) most days.
Customise ur laksa. Look @ what combo u can create with chicken slices, cockles, fried bean curd & prawns - Cheen The Curious
Super bouncy fish balls. Their noodles have an almond taste, which is quite unique. Wish the fish balls have more fishy taste though ???? - Pheobe Tan
Get the $5 BCM, the toppings were generous, noodle springy and the soup delicious. Worth the queue and money - C
...prices are low and cheap. With 50 $, there's so much that you can buy. - Allan Lanskie
