Not the original, “old” Sacher cafe . The worst: they kept people waiting in a very long queue while there were at least 5 available, set tables upstairs: a really bad marketing trick.
The horrendous prices are expected of course, but then I would expect impeccable service and quality as well , which was unfortunately not the case. At least the Sacher Torte was great...
You should try the desert wine ! Absolutely amazing...

Many people do not like Sacher cake. I really like it. And this is the best. Great balance of the apricot jam with the actual cake. And the chocolate ganache is amazing( for me this make it special)! - giota pipi
