Statue of Liberty Ferry

The way to get to the Statue of Liberty, and to Elis Island . Cheap tickets, and on time service. Be on time, as there is airport-style security to go through. Gift shop on board. Helpful staff .

Make sure you get your tickets online to get in the express "Reserve " line . Otherwise you'll be in line forever. You only need to get your tickets a day early.

Nice transport service , very good options to be enjoying the trip in 3 levels, in our case the first floor to be comfortable with our baby

Buy tickets online.Rent a locker if have a back pack/bags from other places. Bc of security only carry small items and no big full purses to avoid problems or having to go get a locker after in line

Make sure you sit on the left side of the boat, when you're facing the back end. That's the side that will face the Statue when you're riding by!

Prepare for the weather. We’re from Texas and we were still very warm. The humidity is high! Airport-style security checkpoint to pass through adds to the Ellis Island experience ????

Although the line was too long, it didn’t take much time. But still can’t get the idea of tickets thou. Any ways I loved the experience

For best views of the Statue of Liberty, head up to the top deck, starboard rail (right).

Best shot of the liberty statue is from the ferry when u get closer to the island . IT looks splendid

Always busy, but the staff is nice and you can always enjoy the #EyeCandy

The logistics here are simply flawed! Standing in line 60 minutes in the sun despite having a "fixed" entry time!

Order the tickets online because there is an enormous line at the stations when u get there!

Pick the seats at the top of the ferry and at the left side for a great view !

Go to the top deck for the best views , plenty of food and drinks

Try to sit on the first level. You'll still be able to get good pictures and you'll make it off faster.

Want to see the sites, go to the top deck - want a quick exit, stay on the lower deck

Gets real hot with no shade. If it's a cooler day, it's perfect.

Get your tickets early and try to get the very first ferry in the AM to go and enjoy visiting more than one island .

Skip the long lines . Reserve your tickets online and either print your ticket or get it from the pier entrance (castle clinton). The lines are very long.

Statue liberty is amazing !!

Lovely views and service, however, people can get extremely rude trying to get to the edge of a ferry to make a selfie

Don't bother with prepaid. We waited in line for 15 minutes to redeem our prepaid tickets while others walked right up and got tickets within seconds. 4 lines 1 was prepaid- 40deep. D-

If you don't have enough time on either island to go to the gift shop , there are two small shops which sell magnets and Statue of Liberty hats on the boat.

Buy tickets in advance. Security airport-level, be prepared.

Grab a seat on the upperdeck at the back of the vessel. Good photo-place while going to liberty island .

Make sure to take your pictures, and be mindful of others also taking theirs

The ferry has full restrooms and a snack bar !

Reserve online for a time and u'll be in in a flash! If u have a citypass good luck getting on the ferry !

Being able to see a little part of history

Wait until passengers disembark before ordering a delicious, queue-free hot dog !

Big crowd! Wonderful time! Worth every penny!

Dont take drones with you! They are not allowed! I forgot mine was on the backpack and had to go the next day

If you get back so tired and want to go to the restroom there is an Starbuck in front of battery Park ..

The gift shop onboard has a lot of the same stuff as in the gift shop at the statue . Skip the lines and get the souvenir on board .

Be ready to wait in the long line . There are quite extensive security controls.

Definitely take the free ferry . Don't spend the $28 for the other one.

If you dont wanna pay, you can GO on the staten island ferry that is free.

Signage says they use "airport-like security screening" but I wasn't assaulted by a TSA agent so I feel like the security section doesn't live up to the hype. The actual ferry ride is alright though.

Fast service . You don't have too wait too long. Ferry is a little overloaded but fine.

Skip the lines : Reserve your tickets online for priority boarding. You can also leave from the NJ side where the lines are much shorter.

Go when it is raining. There is no line . They also give a military discount !!!
