The Royal Dramatic Theatre
The Royal Dramatic Theatre (Swedish: Kungliga Dramatiska Teatern or Dramaten) is Sweden's national stage for "spoken drama", founded in 1788. Around one thousand shows are put on annually on the theatre's eight running stages.

This stunning building was funded by a lottery , a very popular lottery , as the state didn't want to invest any money. It holds 6 stages and there are approx. 1000 performances each year.
The Royal Theatre where you can find tickets from 150 kr, which is cheaper than some cinema tickets nowadays. All plays is however in Swedish .
I wish they could provide English subtitles for all performances . Who wouldn't like an Ibsen play when traveling to Sweden?

Klassisk kulturmark som främst visar en bred repertoar av pjäser, men även konserter emellanåt. Vacker byggnad!
Blev ledsen för jag skulle tvingas lämna datorväskan i obevakad garderob. Senare söker en teatervärd upp mig och fixar bevakning. Bra service!
Konstnärligt hög kvalité, vågade teman och mycket skickliga skådespelare!
