Easy steep short hike to the top. Have to walk around path to the right as your facing it. Great place to take guests and has a beautiful lake area around it.
Perfect hike for families or older family members up to Hole in Rock. Great view of the city , rocks and water.
This is a great little "hike " up to a really cool formation in the rock. The Hole in the Rock is a great vantage point to watch a famous AZ sunset , have a picnic , etc. Parking closes when park closes.
Not really a hike but a steep, short walk up a hill . Very scenic and easy to accomplish. While up there I saw an old lady and a young boy make it to the top. Anyone can do this hike .
A nice easy hike (walk) to the "Hole in the Rock" is a favorite place to watch the beautiful Arizona sunsets . Pay attention to park closure times (seasonal) as they close parking gates. Photo Opp.
Gate closes at 7 so get there earlier if you want to watch the sunset . Hunts Tomb is the best spot in the park for views . Feeding the animals is prohibited.
Great place to watch the sunset ! It perfectly overlooks downtown and the distant mountain ranges! Great way to see those beautiful Arizona sunsets !

This park is awesome for a quick hike , great views and friendly people on the trails .

Sooo beautiful, we stumbled on the ponds but so happy we did
Fantastic hiking and biking trails . Fun place to go have a picnic .
I enjoy walking my dog in the west area of the park . I take one of 4 walks - walking southwest, walking northwest, walking to the Elliot ramada, or the [mostly] asphalt walk around the golf course .
Lots of great trails for hiking .
Climb up to the hold in the rock at sunset and watch the planes fly in. Make sure to bring your camera !

A great place to relax and have a fun day - there's a lot to see, and you could spend hours just combing over all the exhibits. If I lived in Phoenix, I would definitely buy a membership. - Kyle Gray
The tomb itself is interesting because it's a pyramid. The first governor of AZ and his family are buried here. It sits atop a mountain and the view is beautiful. - Mary Dreyer
