The Drake Hotel

Yes I like this hotel but there could be some improvements made such as maybe some live harp music or light jazz in the lobby. The food here is amazing. Would love to see some updates 2 the room!

Tea , atmosphere, n finger foods were all wonderful. My girlfriends and I had a great time dressing up and having tea here. Make a reservation early, we made our a month in advance for Christmas time .

Such a beautiful, nostalgic hotel with lots of history. Great food, shops, and bars . The rooms are very nice and the decor throughout the hotel is amazing. One of my favorite hotels in Chicago .

I love the great service I get at the Drake! I was also surprised at the great service I got from their black car service, Echo Limousine. Clean , new cars and professional drivers.

A charmingly old school hotel that made us smile! The concierges were truly lovely. Amazing dry martinis and music at the bar . Definitely worth a visit.

They had the best swing dance night! Wow it was fun! Also the best place for people watching at the bar after midnight.. Or maybe we were watched instead...any way a must visit!

Grew up down the street from here. Hilton has done a decent job of updating rooms, albeit they've made the executive lounge small and cramped and no longer a full bar . Still a great lady among Chicago

My favorite Chicago hotel by far. Iconic and charming with large rooms, a prime location and a great bar , you just can't beat spending a summer weekend here.

It is an absolute must to dine in the Cape Cod Room. The seafood is superb. Try the pacific Alaskan salmon w/lobster sauce & the crab cakes are to live for. Enjoy!

@ The Cape Cod . The $29 Walleye encompassed enough fish to barely fill a quarter of the plate. I violated one of one of my most steadfast rules; NEVER eat in the hotel 's restaurant !

The Afternoon High Tea delivered with the venue, music & friendly service , BUT lobster (more shrimp actually) roll, & other offerings were underwhelming. For $103 for two, it should be better.

The staff at the drake are amazing and always make me feel like I'm the most important person there. If you have a chance go for high tea . We also like to go for wine and desert at palm court

The rooms are large and authentic . Some rooms have 2 bathrooms . Great for a family

Very disappointing, very small room and bathroom , lacklustre lobby, and it is located at the north of Magnificent Mile, far from the museums and the parks (about 30 min walk)
