Great place to sit and relax, though the benches on the other side of it against the wall are quieter . Not as good for people watching as the steps in Diagon Alley though.
Great place to cool down inside the Wizarding World. Swing around back for two entrances into Dervish & Banges.
Loved the postmark - just beware that the postcards & stamps are a little expensive . Definitely worth it, but we saved the "special" stamps for people we knew were HP fans.
Buy postcards and stamps here, and an attendant outside will postmark it for you (and even let you borrow a pen to fill them out.)

If you are just wanting to get a wand , don't waste your time by waiting in line to get into Olivander's. Go into the Owl Post or there's a cart by the castle that sells wands .
This is a less crowded area to get a wand (versus the back room of Dervish and Banges)
