The best italian restaurant in NY, definitelly worth it! It's a gem. We had a "Home" salad , veal saltimbocca , prosecco and tiramisu . Portions are usually for 2 people. It was so delicious! Service too

Bayan Bamukhayyar

Despite the mouthwatering items on the menu, Tony's offers specials of the day that I recommend you try. The family style portions are perfect for 2, even 3. Don't underestimate the house salad !

Bee Williams

This place was amazinggggg! Order the meatballs to start! So good! Make a reservation because the weekends are busy!

Paige C

I like this location a lot better than the Times Square one. The food is great but the best item on the menu is their massive strawberry shortcake dessert !

Larissa Alvarez

Great for a crowd. Staff is lovely. Our favorites are Mozzarella in carrozza , eggplant rollatoni, rigatoni vodka . The family style taruffo was also a big hit.

Haley Bissegger

Food was excellent and the staff was even better. I was with a large group and they were very accommodating and friendly . The vodka pasta with mushrooms was particularly delicious.

James H.

Tony's does what it should do very very well . The place is loud and crowded with everyone getting what they came for. Good Italian food serviced family style with attentive service .

Sam Margo

Very solid Italian food . I always split a half salad and half pasta with my grandmother. Full portions are huge. Entrees do not come with pasta , FYI.

Cass Anderson

One of the last wonderful 'family style ' restaurants in midtown/UES. Half orders are enormous, no matter what your eyes will bite off more than your stomach can handle, but just go with it.

Adele Blanco

Went with group of 12 for a bday, it was perfect. I was surprised how good the food was and we could actually talk to each other and hang

Funes

Red checkered table cloth in all its glory. Great service, good food. The mantelpucciano was awesome as was the Chicken Parm . Saucy, cheesy comfort food .

Affinia Hotel Collection

Enjoy classic New York Italian cuisine in this large, beautiful restaurant . It’s got plenty of space inside and is ideal for families or large groups.

Devonta

Tony's was a nice restaurant . The plates are sharing sizes. So try several different options. Best meatballs I've ever had. Great ambiance.

Harold Eisenberg

Good eggplant parmigiana , mozzarella sticks , chicken Marsala ,, spaghetti and meatballs ,veal parmigiana and tiramisu and salad .

Justin Pulitzer

Brownie Sundae is great. Ask for crushed Oreo Cookies in it.

Michael G.

Delicious family style Italian . Eggplant parm and penne alla vodka with mushrooms were highlights.

Alara Demirtaş

Server thought she was italian royalty. For a little more money you can get good italian food with good service at carbon.

N Avedis

It’s a family-style restaurant . The food is nice, so is the staff . However the place is too big, seems to miss the fun element of crowded New York restaurants .

Brett Fromme

Try the chicken piccata with a side of sautéed spinach . Their wines by the glass have improved a lot!

Elena Gribok

A family restaurant , with giant portions and so tasty, that u can night your tongue off!!!!! Ravioli are perfect!!!!

Nicholas Alorac

Love this place!!! Get the Baked Ziti with meat sauce - Chicken parm and Tony’s brownie sundae !!!

Live above Times Square? Why not visit this location which is far less crowded than TS? Returning after departure from the UES when it succumbed to the 2nd Ave Subway - expect the same food & service.

Rebecca W

Great family style meal. Great for groups and easy to do with kids

Katie Childs

Servings really are huge. Don't let the waiter talk you out of the half portion to share.

Jonathan Gierman

Great place for a bunch of picky eaters. They can make a lot of the pasta dishes vegetarian .

Rochelle Greenberg

Great food. Terrific service . Good for families . 💕

Mike Seilback

Classic family-style Italian - perfect for a large table celebration

Russell Hirschorn

Best family style Italian in the city for sure.

Definitely sit downstairs in the main area. Upstairs feels like you are eating at Friendlys.

Be sure to ask for Andres. Fabulous server!

Ana Maria Ziroglu

It’s very good food but the service is mediocre. The waiters are rude and nasty. Tried to ask a question to a waiter regarding the menu and was treated with total disrespect. Won’t come back.

Eleonora Telek

Absolutely fabulous food and deserts !

Amanda

You can never go wrong with Tony's Penne ala vodka ! Delish

Black Heart

Good, but pricey for the supposed "family" style

Kristyna Medina

Food was delicious but a lot of Old money in there who tend to complain a lot.
