Very trendy/hip, but good enough coffee and food to back it up. A good alternative to Starbucks. Consistently better than many of the newer coffee shops that have popped up.
The "Papua New Guinea" coffee is really well balanced. truly this makes all buds on the palate happy & I'm not a coffee snob. Know what you want though bc the menu is tiny and the line is always long
By far the best espresso drinks in town . The crowd is a bit rarefied, but the quality of the drinks and surprisingly low prices more than make up for it.
Best coffee in Philly , hands down. No contest. But don't sleep on the unsweetened hot chocolate , either -- it's practically perfect in every way, and customizable to your taste.
I love the almond croissants . The Black and Tan is also good if you’re looking for something iced. The coffee is good but the only downside is that its on the pricey side.
A great coffee shop if you want to read while you enjoy your beverage or have a good conversation. It's not unusual to see 60 people inside, none of whom is using a laptop.
Oat draft latte . Exemplary of Philadelphian innovation. Super smooth taste that combines Oatly with espresso .

One of the most popular coffee shops in Philly with the same excellent sips you’ll find in NYC, but without the snarky barista attitudes.
Tooootally charming interiors. Big. Friendly . Clean . And, excellent coffee .
I had a delicious coffee with almond milk and the moistest pumpkin scone for a great price! Love this spot!
perfect work space, friendly baristas & tasteful decor for a la colombe
Late is on tap. Fluffy and delicious.
Inarguably the originator of Philly’s first wave of coffee , La Colombe remains the go-to spot for rich Italian-style espressos and excellent machiattos. Read more
They have the best Coffee in Philadelphia although the atmosphere is not loud
Great espresso drinks . Best coffee in Philadelphia. Line is long during busy times, but worth the wait.
If you're not down with dairy, ask for hemp milk or drink this delicious coffee black!
Friendly staff and nice coffee .. love their mugs ❤
Usually very crowded with the laptop crowd, but it's the Philly gold standard for cold brew and other caffeinated treats.
Draft latte - they even offered a taste so I could see if I liked it! Was delicious.
Good coffee or tea spot near Ritten Square. Sloppy coffee art , solid pastries .
Good iced coffee (made w/ extra shot of espresso ) but even better Almond Croissant . Best. Pastry . Ever.
This is a great place with fantastic espresso…that's what really matters. I must offer fair warning: They do not have WiFi !
Coffee here was really good. I loved the atmosphere in the place.
Iced coffee - used to be $2.00, still a steal at $3.00. Comes with shot of espresso in it.
Best coffee in Philly . New remodel is slick and has more seating.
Try the cortado here. Very popular so can be loud . The other location is much more quiet . That said, still a big fan of this location
Beautiful ornate tables at this location! Wish there was more natural light inside though.
Pulchritudinous place, nice service and gorgeous coffee
Their coffee (and cortados ) are so good I come here even despite the lack of wifi .
Grab a glass of seltzer from the tap to go with your coffee .
My favorite! Try the Pure Black or a Draft Latte .
The third-wave East Coast standard. Take it black. Beautiful for-here cups and logo design.
The draft latte is an instant favorite. Ask them for a sample!
Delicious coffee and breakfast treats. Always crowded .
Just a regular half-caff coffee - $2!!! So much cheaper than Starbucks and WAY yummier:)
The best of the best! Probably the most flavorful and full bodied coffee I have ever tasted.
There's no wifi , this location isn't clean and the coffee had too much of a burnt flavor for me. I did enjoy the coffee mugs.
There Latte is so good
Cappucino , pure black (cold pressed coffee ), any pastry !
Coffee is SO average. The iced coffee I got was extremely watered down. And almond croissant was stale and dry. Don't understand why it has a good rating on here. Go to Joe's or Bluestone Lane instead
No credit card minimum here, but no WiFi here either. They have power outlets though. It's a nice neighborhoodly coffee shop that seats at least 30.
Their coffee is so good I see cafes all over NYC carrying Colombe. Buy a bag for a friend to share the love
Skim latte has such awesome crema you'd think it was regular milk . These guys know coffee
Amazing coffee plates!

Excellent coffee , friendly barista !
Best coffee around. Way better than Starbucks coffee .
Their espresso has a great rich flavor. The lemon poppyseed donut pairs well with a latte. - Rory Doehring
