View is amazing. Be careful for the gambling . There is a guy that keep inviting u to play the ‘find the ball’ and u supposed to earn but his hand is so quick that can make u loose ur money.

From Erszebet hid (bridge ) through the stairs always use the left from all choices. It takes you to the top of the citadela. It is in restauration from at least in 2023.

Really nice Sunday walk/hike. Definitely a challenge going up, but lots of experiences to be had depending on the path you take. Also, mountain-side parks good for picnics .

Top of Budapest. There are few tents aside with hot mulled wine (useful in winter seasons ).

Check gallery of Budapest old photographs on citadella wall and then go down to church . Dont miss nice views to the bridge from several viewpoints on the way down. Always try to turn left and down.

Was unfortunately completely renovated during our visit (July 2023) and was not accessible. Nevertheless, the climb was worth it just for the great view .

15-20 min walk from the liberty bridge .... So worth it. Do it!!

Buda Side is more industrial and Pest is so beautiful with it's magnificent architecture . Must do in Budapest !

The walk from liberty bridge is only ~15m tho it is steep- it is SOOOO worth it.

It's a shame the wax museum in the bunker is so cheesy because there is actually some very good information about Budapest during the war in there.

It's a breathtaking view from the top of the Gellert Hill ! The Unesco thinks the same and listed the view of Budapest in its World Heritage Sites.

They don’t do the beef cheek by itself anymore - only in a boglanese. The brisket is done just like the beef cheeks was done.

Took the 24 bus up the hill to prevent having to walk the steps. Taking them back down is way easier.
