Food is good here, salmon is always fresh. Service is good as well . Less expensive alternative compared to Rakuzen .

The food and portion is good. The prices are pretty wallet friendly . Just make sure the waiter knows what is she serving, they tend to not know the names of the dishes.

Good food & price. But menu said sets get dessert . Asked for it and was told sets don't get dessert , even though it's clearly stated it does. Then was blamed for not asking about it at first.

Katso Don here is nice and tasty, if you want, you can change the rice to garlic fried rice which is better taste, only charged for RM2.

Dec 2013 - Gyuniku Udon (Rating: 2.0/5.0). Feb 2014 - Sukiyaki Gyuniku Nabemono (Rating: 1.0/5.0). Wrong method of serving. The worse Japanese restaurant in town . Hardly any meal is worthwhile.

I don't agree with the bad tips here.. Always went to nihonkai and their food is good, service is ok too, price reasonable .. Can't see why so many complaint hmm

Friendly service . Especially waiters by the name Martin and Clarisse.

Sushi portion are so much more bigger compare to Sushi Tei.

Meal was fine, but the service was pressurizing. The shop closes at 10pm SHARP!!! Was rushed to order, finish our meal and leave the place by 10.

Food is not bad. Price is reasonable. Portion of each every dishes is just nice.

Not agree to the comment here. Been here for few times, staff is friendly , waiting time is alright. Food wise is ok, price reasonable too. Always order ocha but never try with weird taste.

I think this place is ok. Not high class jap restaurant . Just your neighbourhood restaurant that served affordable jap meals. Green tea is ok. Price is ok. No complaints here!

The place is not bad at all. Serves good tasting food, much better the zanmai anyday. Just that the service could use some improvements.

In Dec 2013, I had Gyuniku Udon . The food was terrible. The Sukiyaki Gyuniku Nabemono is also the worse food. And overly cooked meal makes me lose my appetite. Rating: 1.0/5.0

The rice for the sushi taste like regular rice . And the food is just so-so.

Service very bad. Better dun come here on weekend. If not u wait till die. Food so so only. Got 1 time I come here buy 6 pcs sushi take away , it took 45min only I get it.

Banned this place for the obvious reasons.

My cold ocha taste like chlorinated tap water . Waiter told me its probably filter problem. Changed to hot ocha. He said probably taste the same. Half my appetite gone & my food is not even here yet :(

Summarise everything: I rather go Sushi Zanmai . Food not up to standard, very poor service, bad communication skills. It's gonna be my first & the last time.

Staff very blur, can't understand what is ocha and when we ordered food, it wasn't acknowledge as he doesn't understand.. Ocha does taste lk chorinate pipe water.
