Be sure to have a yearly tennis permit , pick up single hour permits at Paragon Sports , or order them online before coming to these courts from Spring-November. Otherwise you won't be playing at all
The view is not bad, indeed. The courts are fairly slow hard (old Aussie open-ish), but a bit clumpy and with cracks. You'll also need a permit . Positively, these can be booked online.

I hate these courts. Crazy/rude attendants that waste your time. Crappy court conditions, loud surroundings. NYC is the worst place to play tennis . Uws and Central Park from now on for me
