If you run South on the path , there's a great moment, you suddenly notice Lady Liberty at the end of the island . You're in New York City and she's right here with you. Terrible turf fields though.

Once you manage to get past running across FDR, East River Park is a wonderful place for a jog.
Good for "running"... Honesty I don't run, but the roadway lighting is good HIIT cardio . It is also a great spot to sit with friends family and your significant other.

The East River Park has a waterside boardwalk, several baseball and soccer fields , playgrounds , and all sorts of picnic spots.

I love this are, I can lay on the grass and have dogs playing around. If u are not a dog friendly don't come!

If you get to 14th street, you can either go right for a nice run along the river with parks and a track course. Or go left toward 34th, more hills and steps, a great work out.

Running uptown ends at 38th st, where you can veer off into the streets or attempt to jump over the fence. Warning: there are helicopters
Ask the locals if they remember an Ace pitcher named Petkanics.
Beware of crazy Chinese woman in pink t-shirt, she goes around yelling out curses to everyone she doesn't like with no reason
