Best running track outdoors in the city . I always start from the lowest point of the park and run all the way up on the East River . The park itself is amazing with soothing views of Queens/Brooklyn
Secretly some of the best river views of the city , from the Corlears Hook view of the Statue of Liberty , to the promenade under the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges .
Start in the East Village and go to Chinatown. Seeing people playing sports , the small garden areas, the water views , even the craziness of the FDR reminds me why I love this diverse, exciting city .
This is one of the nicest parks in NYC second to Central Park & Hudson River Park . Biking , jogging, walking, skating , dog walking, BBQ , anything you can think of. Enjoy a nice day here or a few hours
Enjoy a wonderful view of the east river and the bridges . After passing Williamsburg Bridge you can spot the lady of liberty
Great running spot with great views and lots of seating along the water. Perfect for picnics !
Good spot for running. There are water fountains that are available during the warm weather and are usually off during the winter. A great place to watch the sunrise.
The earlier you go the better, besides for watching the sun rise over the East River , there's much less congestion. This is more relevant to those on bikes .Everyone has earbuds=they don't hear ur bell!
Spend some quality time with your licensed pup at East River Running Path Dog Run . For info on dog licensing visit: http://on.nyc.gov/M85uPu. For more info about dog runs visit: http://bit.ly/Ra5S4w
Go for a run, ride a bike , or walk your dog on this riverside path with beautiful views of Brooklyn and Queens.
Awesome running path with fantastic views ! Run to Battery Park and see the Statue of Liberty !
Use this great scenic path earlier rather than later, because this popular path is getting super congested with bikers and runners .
Great view to run and let the sunset sink in. Be sure to catch it during the warmer months
The East River Running Path is peaceful and the entire route can be a six-mile jog at any pace.
For a 4+ mile run, start from 37th and run to the bridge and back. Great views all around.
You cam run all the way to midtown west along the water without traffic lights.
East river Running path, has to be the most peacefully place in the lower east side Day or Night
Enjoy the view while you're panting
They should have a bike path and a runners path. But it's a great day for a nice run! ????
If you're walking in a group, stay to the right so runners and bikers can pass.
The path along the river has nice surface so it's good for running.
Great views of the Williamsburg Bridge .
Breathtaking sights of beautiful NYC ????
A lot fun in River east side
The most enjoyable during a night run uptown. Wouldn't recommend going alone at night though.
Running, Long boarding, Soccer , football a little of everything
Don't run too fast
Great place for night run

Weekdays are not crowded .
Nice view for runners .

Awesome views for running and people watching. Go either in the morning or during the weekday because weekend afternoons can get pretty crowded. - Ada Chiu
Take a break from the rolling hills of Central Park and run along this mostly scenic path along the river. Super flat – my Garmin usually picks to single-digit elevation. Beware of the wind sometimes. - Peggy Li
runnn baby runnnnn - @funnyturca
Park with a great view and whole a log of activities. Several different sports field, play ground, jogging path, and others - Harumi U

Maybe the best bagel in the city. My favorite, at least. Open Sesame bagel sandwich is so good. Definitely worth a visit, even on a crowded weekend morning. Bring cash! - Jordan Lee
