From Bill Addison: How refreshing to find that an oblong, crisp-edged pizza topped with truffled burrata tasted gently of funghi rather than fetid truffle oil . Read more
Wow. Everything I tasted was fantastic: the amuse-bouches, the Bigoli , the Olive Ascolane, and the cocktails . Easily one of the best meals I've eaten in Toronto.
Al fresco dining at its best! Nodini , charcuterie and pastas . Skip the booze and go for their well-crafted cocktails . Read more
Their tiramisu is the best in town , seafood is fresh, pizzas are delicious and i loved their gnocchi , a bit pricey but worthy
Chef Rob Gentile’s passion for food shines through, especially for seasonal, local ingredients that he’s been known to forage himself. [Eater 38 Member]
Great service and delicious food&wine! Have the octopus and the chocolate blood cake , that it was a typo? Nope..
Try the Assaggi Di Pasticceria - Tasting platter of pastries . Sugar cookies with strawberry compote, torta di nonna, pear tart , chocolate cornetti were my faves.
Salumi and cheeses are amazing. Food is great. Can feel crowded at times. Pricey but worth it. Great service from staff
The bigoli pasta was good. Enjoyed the wine selection that the sommelier made - Chanti Selvapiana
Authentic , adventurous (think brains & pig 's ears) & stylin'. Tricky to find, but worth it. Don't miss the bread knots. Jamie Oliver's "best meal of the year"...who am I to disagree?
The standouts are the nodini and the mushroom pizza . They have a great wine selection and fantastic service
Amazing food, great atmosphere, but what's up with the separate faucets for cold and hot water, so either my hands are frozen or get scalded... hmm
Really good apps & pasta ! Also liked the tiramisu cup based dessert . Good vibes overall!
Nodini , bigoli , bruschetta , gnocco , tiramisu ... It's all delicious! Sit back and enjoy the impeccable service .
Nodini , duck breast salumi , pork blood spaghetti , eggplant app, burratta pizza . You can't leave without a smile on your face.
The eggplant parmigiana is our top pick. The flavorful contrast of crunchy fried eggplant & creamy buffala ricotta is heavenly.
Absolutely amazing Italian food to enjoy in a beautiful dining space. New menu every night! Can't go wrong with pastas or pizza .
Definitely need to get the Tiramisu for dessert . Probably one of the bests I've ever had!
High quality, great service. Definitely lives up to its name!
The food we had was delicious but was really pricey . Most of the wine is sold by the bottle & not cheap . Didn't really like that they sat us in the "dungeon" section; it was too dark & claustrophobic.
The bigoli with duck ragu is phenomenal, as is the pizza funghi . Can be quite loud during peak dinner hours.
Rob Gentile cooks like a boss! If you don’t do the tasting, make sure to order the Spaghetti al Nero!
Need a great spot to impress a client? Buca is it. Same folks that brought you Enoteca Sociale. Order the pizza ... might be one of the best in the city .
Great service, nice place. I am vegan and they catered to me. I don't think I would go back though.
Great service, authentic Italian food and experience
You can’t go wrong with any of the Carne dishes.
Try the Lamb Carpaccio - So tender, delicate and melt in your mouth!
The truffle pizza with burrata is to die for
Try the Ammazzafegato - Offal sausage with farro and poached egg .
if you ask the staff to order for you they will. sharing is the key here as everything is fantastic.
Get the flaming squash . It’s delightful.
Best Italian Choice in Toronto!!
Good food and great service but overpriced considering other options. The lamb brain was delicious and so was the Mirto. Just don't get dark rum cuz its 16 dollars an ounce...
The pigs ears are a must try! And the sausage stuffed warm olives ! Everything on the menu is awesome
Need to try: BlogTO recommended for pasta . And it's close to me!
Buratta Salad . To die for!
Try the Ravioli ! To die for!!
Ask for Zoe. Best service ever and food is to die for.
Need to order the Nodini , delicious!
Really wonderful gnocchi - light and fluffy as they should be.
Good flavours, unfortunately, little portions.
Make sure the guy sitting at the next table has breath mints .
Pork blood pasta !
Try the garlic bread
Everybody recommended the pizza but was not that great
Ravioli and any pizza
Pizza that you cut with scissors. Need we say more?
Great food, beautiful space, they cure thier own meats and make thier own cheeses ... try the tirmisu
Must try the Cervello...yes, its Lamb 's brains but soooo delicious!!
Try the Grilled Ramps With Romescu & Sheeps Milk Cheese - So delicious, romescu sauce is my new found love - Brie Young
The food itself (pizza, fish) was just ok, but the rooftop patio is great. There is actually a private rooftop patio for 2, which is beyond awesome. Ask for it! Great date spot. Great service too. - Ian Leung
Excellent, view from back of first balcony was great ;) - Marika T
Both the coconut & dark chocolate gelato are the best I've tasted. And vegan, too! - Darcy
Worth the $30 price tag for one cocktail, epic pictures and a sensory one-of-a-kind experience. Order from the Modernist menu and arrive at 6 when they open! I recommend the Spring Thaw. - Ariana Voyer
