Good fish and chips . About average price for a meal in Reykjavík (ISK2,000ish). Fish is nice and crisp on the outside and moist and flakey inside. Fries/chips are average. Sauce costs ISK290 extra.
Simply really amazing fish . Expensive for normal standards but well priced for Icelandic standards. We had 4 entrees for 8100kr. So delicious though - you must have the fish and chips !
This is the place to get your hands a little greasy and dig into a bucket of warm fish n chips . Add the jalapeño garlic sauce for a subtle kick.
The batter of the fish and chips was light. And the fish really fresh. The roasted vegetables and curly fries were also a great compliment to the meal.
Great food! Decently priced (if you’re used to $ in NY or LA). Multiple locations but the harbor one has a great view .
Fish and chips were great. It’s extra for sauce but worth it. The cream jalapeño sauce was tasty.
The Fish Soup With Lots Of Fish really does have lots of fish - spicy (but not too spicy ), delicious, and way worth it!!!
Excellent fish soup - with variety of sea meat and food! Highly recommend it!
Sit facing the street at the 1st or 2nd table when you enter restaurant , there's a view of harbor . Perfect for fueling up before museum visits.
The fish and chips are really good, The local ver is better lager . Pri es are not the cheapest so dont beleive the evaluation. Chipest dish is aprox 1900 crowns (about 19 usd)
Fresh fish at reasonable price. Nice atmosphere - modern local decoration
Get the fish soup ! Spicy and hearty with lots of fish , and a deal at a couple bucks less than the fish and chips .
Great food and not too expensive . Harbor location has a great view .
Tried Plokkari for the first time - excellent food and just what I needed after a long day on my feet!
Great food and amazing service overlooking the water and the mountains !
Fish & chips here are very good. Yes it's tourist-oriented but everywhere in downtown Reykjavik shares that.
Good fish and chips . For the budget conscious traveler, the portion is generous enough to share!
Huge pieces of delicious cod for the fish & chips !
Love the fish & chip and also the chicken burger
Good Fish and Chips . Order at the bar and they will bring to your table.
The fish and chips were great and so was the Viking beer that washed it all down.
Super-fresh fish with chips . Generous portions . Delicious!
Try the Plokkari . It's a must have. And the local beers are a welcome thirst stopper.
Great value fish and chips . Large portions and tasty sauces.

Fish and chips !!????
The fish & chips were ok.
As an Asian, chili sauce and ketchup is a must. They don't have it here. Other sauce is kr290 for a good tb spoonful. If u want free ketchup go to opposite restaurant .
Plokkfiskur
First time having fish and chips for me and it was amazing.
Trato muy agradable, sitio acogedor y comida muy buena. Yo pedí fish&ships: sabroso y crujiente. Mi pareja pidió la chicken burger y según él 'la mejor burger de pollo que había probado'
Selten so gutes Fish & Chips gegessen. Der Fisch zergeht auf der Zunge und die Pommes sind eher standard, aber werten das Gericht nicht ab.
Corbaya ve karisik deniz urunlerini begendik. Fiyatlar fena degil (buranin standartlarina gore)
All we had, was so great and tasty! Fish soup, artic char, fish&chips- wow!❤️❤️❤️
Lightly fried fish, delicious! Love the remoulade sauce, but wish you got one free and then pay for more after that. Picnic table eating on the harbor on a sunny day...perfect setting! - Dana Hyland
fresh fish with skyr dips! can't go wrong with a dip sampler. - Deanna
Try the lobster soup - perfect for a cold day. They served it nice and warm with freshly baked bread, too. - P
Really great views, often free organ concerts and friendly staff - Julia Seaman
the cutest area with tons of restaurants and a great view - Christine Wong
My favorite cafe in Reykjavik. They have some waffles and sweets as well. I prefer the basement. Board games available. - Leonidas M.
