the refinery, located in the landmark blue fin building on southwark street, near to tate modern and in the heart of london's bankside, exudes an industrial sophistication and is a great spot any time of the day or night.

love the refinery, the friendly staff & lovely manager megan! great outside area and coffee for morning meetings in the sunshine! the steak and lobster deal is great too!
Read so many bad reviews about the service but great food. Just go there and ask about Adam. We(2 couples) just had there and have a wonderful night with very nice food. I would recommend for everybod
A bit surprised by the comments, maybe I was lucky or they improved well . My food was good, and the service friendly . Nice decor inside. Really warm in it. Best for weekday over lunch .
Great work lunch spot . Quinoa bowl is healthy and filling. Add halloumi for extra flavor.
If you are new to the southbank area, this is great first start, this place has character friendly staff , cool for pre-drinks and dates! ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
Nice buzzing atmosphere, even during lunch times. £15 steak , lobster , fries and prosecco a great deal.
I didn't get why all the negative reviews about...Amiable staff , nice drinks, good service and a lovely environment ????
Nice place with quite friendly service . It gets very busy on Thursday and Friday evening.
Watch the chefs at work - choose from restaurant or bar food -- good value .... And good choices for vegetarians
Food was great and the presentation was beautiful!
The place is nice but can't recommend the brunch/food. Avo on sourdough toast was good. Blueberry pancakes and fries felt like they were heated up from frozen.
Came here for Sunday brunch . Very cool ambience. Menu was good and varied, food tasty but very small portions and very pricy for what you got. Decent coffee .
Great place, very cozy hang out spot
Bar snacks and Prosecco were lovely for a quick drink.
Good spot for a quick lunch . Usual fare done well
Fish pie and roman chips were delicious!
Blueburry pancakes and eggs royal are great!
Done drinking daiquiri 's and necking beers ? The Table Cafe 's right across the road open till 10.30pm for truly inspiring cooking.
I went over 8 months ago. The food was a disaster. My pasta with ragù sauce was overcooked and gluey. The steak +"lobster " (more like a burnt prawn ) was disgusting - we sent it back and got a refund
Weird dance of "you can have food, you can't have food, you can have food". Weird. Also many youth in trackies.
V cool restaurant & bar ; try the self heal cocktail as its basically good for you!
Pimm's in the summer, Aperol spritz for the rest of the year :)
Rules before customer, go next door to del Aziz, friendly and accommodating
Avoid on a Friday evening/night. The DJ thinks he's in a nightclub in Ibiza, and consequently it's ear-splittingly loud , making conversation utterly impossible and killing any decent atmosphere.
You won't get served if the waiters don't think you're posh enough.
The burgers are pretty average, but the entire atmosphere is good. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for tasty food.
Don't come too thirsty- your wait for a drink, even on a quiet Sunday afternoon, will be a while
Outdoor Lounge ????
Great! ! :)
Slow service. They overcharged us and the bill included food that we did not order. The food is delicious anyways and the atmosphere is nice.
Fish pie is amazing!
Meagre portion for the Eggs Royal and no truffle in the Roman Fries . Disappointing. Service and Virgin Mary was good though.
Typical city bar but inexpensive negroni 's
Jugs of Pimm's and hot barmen
Nice place with friendly but slow staff
My son said "best burger I've ever tasted"
Burgers here are lush, and the Cocktails are excellent. Nice to sit outside if its warm.
I came here last century. My order was taken 50 years ago and I am still waiting at the table for the food.
Been here several times over the past few years and sadly the quality of the food has gone steadily downhill.
You'll wait 20mins to get served even if there's noone at the bar . Nice enough place though
The Stilton Fondue is incredible.
Very noisy ! You will go home with a sore throat if with friends because you havde been shouting all night trying to hear one another ;(
Wifi pwd is therefinery
Average food and terrible service. Took forever to place an order. Half of which arrived. Food was like warm and chewy. Try The Table over the road instead.
Nice layout but the service particularly at lunchtime is appalling. Need more staff behind the bar .
Made us all ill ????
Wine is good, staff are nice, but too many corporate tossers in the clientele
Mango mojito didn't taste much of mango .
Toooo Loud ! !!!
order at the bar when busy, you'll be waiting a long time for a waitress ...
I can recommend the sharing cheese fondue as well as the burger, all washed down with their Tanner & Co beer. - Matt King
Awesome Sunday Roast place on the top floor restaurant. Book in advance though, it's always super busy! - Bindi Karia
Scrambled eggs cooked at perfection. Yummy, could be more generous with salmon - Debora Minasi
Great scenic views of London and one of the best modern art galleries in the world! The Turbine Hall is always worth checking out for large artworks and installations. - Jack Davis
love all the turkish delight and d giant flavored meringues and omg the paella is delicious! - Jackie Leung
