Fantastic location with amazing food and service. I had the lamb roast for a main and loved it! Also, the rhubarb crumble was awesome.
Beautiful views on the restaurant floor, and attentive staff . Might want to ask for doubles for your cocktails -- the G&T and barrelled Negroni I tried were a bit watery given the price.
Great Thames views and well executed food of greater quality than one might expect given the prime location. Good raised terrace for summer
GQ recommends: For the more health-conscious patrons, order the Homemade Swan muesli made with ancient grains and seeds, served with lashings of Bermondsey honey and coconut yoghurt .
Very helpful staff . Didn’t like anything on the pre there menu so they moved us to the bar . They still remembered to mark the occasion!
Excellent food and ambiance. Was delighted to find a delicious English wine on the menu (Chapel Down) but at £9 a glass - com'on you can buy a bottle for barely more than that
If you can, get a table upstairs in the restaurant . Well worth it. Great food, lovely room, awesome views . (Don't have the pork belly though - not enough crispiness .)
Amazing views over the Thames . Great choice of wine , good food! Really nice waiters . Make sure you book in advance!
Incredible views & nice atmosphere. Had a xmas meal here & the vegetarian option was good as far as xmas veg options go
Rabbit , beetroot salad , pork belly ; great view of the city at night. Cosy lounge downstairs.
Even though they had a rough start with the drinks (not that strong)and the starters ( good but nothing special) they hit it big with the mains. Try the lamb folks!
This is a truly lovely venue; good selection of drinks, and helpful polie staff . But they didn't take American Express for me on 14/05/14, which was a tad disappointing.
Awesome Sunday Roast place on the top floor restaurant . Book in advance though, it's always super busy!
I had the best roasted lamb here. Gorgeous view and delish wines .
Such an amazing view on the Thames and St Paul Cathedral , perfect for a late drink after visiting The Globe Theater next door
Delightful atmosphere, delicious menu, and surprisingly not packed with tourists , given the location.
Given where it is you know what to expect. Nice spot but packed when the weather is nice.
Surprisingly enjoyable place. Ate in bar area - comfortable & cozy . Would recommend
Very quick service , maybe a little too, quick. Great views , atmosphere, altogether a pleasant experience. Try it out.
Sunday roast last year on Mother's Day was amazing! Pricey , but a great meal.
Feels like home, nice view , tasty roast chicken
Great spot to meet friends and family. Good choice of drinks
Unexpectedly great atmosphere for a drink pitstop on Saturday afternoon with guitar jazz duo playing. Good house White wine too
If they have veal chops on the menu, don't think. Order it
Give a go to the Sunday roast : perfect after theatre treat.
Their chest- tables look like they have witnessed Shakespeare;) Cosy place , never mind the crowds before the play
Another lamb dish that you have to try.
Great view and atmosphere . The food was alright, nothing extraordinary but the location is totally worth it.
Views , wine
Good beer , good wine , nice place
Beautiful environment, nice music , great coffee - when it's not busy.
Fantastic hidden secret restaurant upstairs.
Great pub on Southbank, go there after theatre show started
A must go even if you don't go to the Globe.
Great views and atmosphere
The specials are good
Bizarrely expensive ?? Food is great and great lager .
Nice bar with a lovely view of the Thames .
Great views , ok atmosphere, bland/mediocre food
Cozy bar with great views of the river .
Great location, and good selection of drinks.
Good food but staff incredibly judgemental ????
Atmosphere is nice, food delicious.
Amazing views and really enjoyed the pork !
The crowds come and go depending on production times, but this is a really pleasant place. How tourist bars should be done.
The roast chicken is yummy! Prefer it over the roast pork .
Terrace has to be cleared out when performances are on.
You can meet the performers here after the show sometimes
Nice view , crap beer .
Tasty food with great view
The grilled halibut was very good & you cannot beat the amazing views - Abdulrahman Alazem
The main 'Pork' (pork belly) dish with mash is really good! Nice atmosphere and good customer service! Also expensive :) - N Chambers
Nice buzzing atmosphere, even during lunch times. £15 steak, lobster, fries and prosecco a great deal. - Beauty Soul
amazing place, love it. Different venues for different events, restaurant and a small concert room lit only by candles - friendly stuff too - Lilian D.
Spare good amount of time if you are a fan of contemporary art because this place has a massive and great collection! Dont miss the temporary exhibitions, though visiting all will take more than a day - Pinar E.
