The margaritas here are EXCELLENT. Great happy hour too but make sure you sit at the bar , as happy hour prices don't apply at the tables.
In our opinion, the best Mexican in Brooklyn. The shrimp and scallop enchiladas are perfect, and the pork adobo is a must-order dish as well . Awesome happy hour specials too!
Authentic , flavorful Mexican food . Great happy hour has $5 margaritas , $3 wine/beer, and $5 snacks . Pro tip: In summer there's a backyard for sipping frozen hibiscus margaritas w/ a spicy-salty rim.
One of the best Mexican spots in Brooklyn. Amazing drinks, food and service. Be sure to make a reservation .
Visiting friends in Brooklyn having a relaxing experience. This gem made me like Mexican food again. I had mole enchiladas and we shared guacamole . They're veggie peeps and their meals were fantastic.
best guacamole ever. queso fundido , carne asada & filet taquitos , sandia margarita , banana bread pudding , salted caramel ice cream & brownie ALL amazing! exceptional service .
Drinks are delicious & unique. The food was superb - the beef was tender, the plantains were perfect. The ambiance was romantic at night in the backyard . New favorite place!
Do yourself a favor and go to Fonda for brunch . Holy guacamole . Try the rancheros divorciados and ask them to scramble your eggs . And don't forget to ask for extra tortillas for your beans and guac !
Queso fundido app is to die for as are the enchiladas suizas which were not too spicy and super creamy. Can't wait to come back for brunch !
The Mexican brunch here is delicious, but it's not the same with Steven. He is THE BEST waiter at either Fonda establishment (Manhattan or Brooklyn). He can currently be found on Sunday at Fonda BK.
Great happy hour but you need to sit by the bar ! Mezcalita and mushrooms quesadillas are great. Guacamole is also good for sharing :)
Delicious brunch ! Perfect for hangovers. Favorite dish is the huevos divorciados. You can get dishes without the bacon/chorizo.
Delicious, welcoming, good local spot . Though it’s almost impossible to spend less then $150 (tips included) for a dinner for 3 (2 parents, 1 kid)
If you love enchiladas or chilaquiles , Fonda is the place to visit. The enchilada with poblano mole sauce and the creamy pasilla chailaquiles are just 2 of the dishes that would make anyone come back.
We eat dinner here way too often. I am addicted to the pollo norteño and guacamole . The drinks are also on point. So good!
Guacamole was good - a single portion (meant to serve 2 people) was enough as an appetizer for 4 of us, since we all ordered entrees for meals. it's pricey all around the menu, but you do quality.
The Rosalita is delicious, the happy hour bar food is okaaaaay, tasty for what it is but small portions and tacos and mini-quesadillas are the same exact thing except that quesadillas are pressed.
Legit queso fundido , delicious margaritas (my favorite is hibiscus ) and sophisticated sauces in the entrees.
Tostadas de Carne, Flautas de Pollo & do not pass on the dessert Tres Leches . The Tres Leches will change your life!
Nice upscale Mexican joint in the Slope. Great gauc. I enjoyed the duck zarape, though it was a bit too salty.
Get the braised brisket , carne Asada or pork adobo . Everything is amazing. Drinks strooooong! Tres leche divine.
Best Mexican I've had in NYC. Quality everything, wish I could be more specific but I mean everything.
The best happy hour margaritas that will leave you questioning the next morning how you made it home.
Come during happy hour ! Sit at the bar and enjoy half priced margs and cheap appetizers .
Tamarindo margharita will kick your ass! Guac was good.. Everything pay is some heat! Would go again! Strong drinks !!
Decent “fancy ” Mexican in the Slope. A bit priceyer than it should be but good guacamole and a nice outdoor brunch .
The food and servers were excellent but the general manager was a major dbag . He came over to our table after a server moved us outside and accused us of moving ourselves in front of everyone.
Had a very reasonably priced Valentine's Day pre-fixe dinner for $100 including wine , beer and margs .
Spicy pineapple Margarita is delicious & stuffed Poblano peppers are really good
extremely slept on, really strong menu top to bottom & outsized portions for an upscale Mexican restaurant
Guac is typically expensive but amazing. Perfect chip/tortilla to guac ratio.
Holy mole as well ! The oaxacaqueno mole was one of the best Mexican dishes I have ever had. Hugely recommended.
Nice patio out back. Be sure to get a table out there on a sunny day
Very delicious guacamole and fresh, handmade tortillas . Entrees are heavy on the cheese .
Hard to decide whats better: brunch or happy hour . Both are pretty amazing.
1 Guac to share + 1 cocktail and 3 beer + 6 (pieces) fish tacos = $100 plus tip (not cheap )
Amazing tacos , interesting specials and tasty brunch .
Great margaritas , really good Mexican food . Also, good soup .
Margarita's (Rosalita 's) are AMAZING. The Guac is also ON POINT
Pork Carnitas
Spectacular brunch ! The huevos rancheros is the best I've ever had.
I keep going back. Everything is a+
Come for the happy hour , every day starting at 4, til 7 during the week and 6 other times.
Shrimp and scallops with hazelnut chipotle mole = To die for. Woooow.
Great service awesome food. Drinks that you can't say no to. Well worth a visit.
The quality of food is comparable to Rosa Mexicana. The mole enchiladas are the best I've ever had.
good food. good drinks. TERRIBLE SERVICE. the ambiance is nonexistent. the waiters are slow and careless. one of them yelled at us because he thought we were being impatient but he misheard us.
Busy on Fridays during the summer when the back yard space is open. Expect slower service, especially from the bar (only one person).
Chilaquiles is so good!
The brunch is great- try the huevos rancheros with rosalita cocktail (hibiscus margarita )
Great tostones and crispy Brussels sprouts. Shrimp tacos and green goddess good too - Leemor Yuravlivker
I love this place! The decor, the food, the margaritas. Go for the taco happy hour! - Monica Brandes
No need to come early to shows. Always seats and great food and drink selections. - Michael Anthony
Beautiful, interesting, and expansive. So many things to do and see. A million unique areas. - Kitty Mullee
Excellent open-faced sandwiches and affordable wines by the glass. Great for a small group to kick back and chat for a while over small plates. - Design*Sponge
