Hidden behind a somewhat ordinary (slightly shabby) storefront you find the best vegetarian/vegan sandwiches of NYC. Starting from around $7. They're big enough to be a decent evening meal.

My favorite sandwich is the Free Bill (hoping it’s not about Bill Cosby). The sandwich artist definitely plays favorites and unfortunately I’m not one of them but overall it’s worth it.

Huge selection of seriously delicious sandwiches . But please be patient when it's busy - and tip the man, man!

It's all about the comically named late night sandwiches and proximity to the train ride home.

Not your typical Deli . Walk in to see high end bulk Olive Oil and one infused with Lemon too, Balsamic Vinegar is fabulous!

Delicious sandwiches , but no seating! Go for the other location for a bigger selection of groceries and some tables.

Get the Godfather 1 with no provolone and added Parmesan and basil . I was blown away by it.

I had The Donkey for the first time last night on a recommendation from a friend @ 2:30am. Great sandwich for sopping up alcohol after a night of revelry without having to eat ridiculously unhealthy.

The "Vegan " cheese contains casein. Just order without for an amazing vegan sandwich . Tofurkey Club never gets old.

Sandwiches are okay for a street deli , the deli clerk is the worst person I’ve ever met, completely entitled sandwich maker. If there ever was such a thing.

I'm a big fan of the Angry Owl and the Final Show (with veggie bacon ).

I nominate the "Awwww Shit" (my creation): Turkey , sporasada, bacon , pepper jack , (warm), avocado , spinach , tomato , Jalapeno , toasted hero. Do it.

Order the Kia and if you need to add anything let it be bacon and hot sauce . You will not be let down. Fan F'ing Tastic.

My favorite hero: MONKEY ASS (but i swap out the sundried tomatoes for roasted red peppers ), order it and you will not be disapoint.

This place is heaven for sandwich lovers! So many options! Vegans & vegetarians won’t be disappointed either. They’re open 24/7!

If you are brave enough to order the "just like a woman", you will be glad. It's a giant sub for veggies .

Shrek sandwich is my favorite: tofu cutlet , avocado , hummus and spinach on a roll.

Albert works the grill, Peter works the reg. They're both great dudes & will compromise on whatever you order. They are your friends!
