The bagel with lox has got all the fixins you crave: tomatoes , red onions , capers , and duh, cream cheese and lox . It's served toasted, open-faced, and delicious.

This place is great, they have lost of selections. You can get awesome sandwiches and vegan / non vegan food/salads here. Also they recently added fresh juices , get the # 11 with ginger .

Really good selection of pre-packaged food. Great coffee . Obligatory remark about the price of the iced coffee --whatever.

The avocado turkey sandwich is stellar! Also all of the veggie sandwiches are delicious

The meat sandwiches are great. Nice wood benches outside to sit and eat too. (If only Nassau wasn't so ugly to look at)

The vegetarian lasagna is no joke. I could eat it for days. Get to the Standard when it's fresh, just after 5 pm, and your stomach will thank you.

The sandwiches are great, and breakfast burritos especially awesome.

Their homemade guac is the jam . Truffled white bean dip comes in a close second. Nom.

The assorted cold dishes in the fridge are great. Try the beet salad or black bean salad . This place is a godsend for vegan/vegetarians.

The lemon whole soy & co yogurt is lactard heaven. Also try the jerk seitan sandwich .

Order a banh mi , some pickled bok choy , any kind of cupcake , and a large rosemary lemonade . Yes, all at once. You won't regret it.

4 dollars for a cup of iced coffee ? Hands down the most overpriced coffee in NYC, maybe even the country . Also, although tasty, the bacon egg and cheese comes with a half slice of bacon . $$$$$$$

Get the Grilled BBQ Tofu Sandwich . Awesome chunks of potato and tasty tofu on amazing multi-grain bread . Filling and delicious.

Good for some things but now that the 24 hour corner store opened up across the street there's no reason to pay Brooklyn Standards inflated prices. Also, check the expiration dates.

I'm really into the egg & cheese on a biscuit . They serve stumptown , but 4 bucks for an iced coffee is a bit much.
