Absolutely amazing venue with world class stars and performances ! But don’t get lost wandering around, the place is huge with many staircases lifts and passageways

Every ballet I have seen here has been spectacular - Swan lake , The Nut Cracker, The Sleeping Beauty... anything you choose to see will be an extraordinary experience ✨✨✨

Mariinsky's Swan Lake was wonderful. If you want to avoid the interval crowds and queues (and can afford some extra expense ) book a table in advance at one of the Opera restaurants - it was worth it!

Great to catch an Opera or Ballet . It is open daily from 12pm. No entrance fee - go to the rooftop bar or restaurant for views over Covent Garden .

Great seating on the upper terrace level, especially if you want to enjoy a takeaway dinner pre show; enjoy the views of Covent Garden and listen to the buskers below.

Beautiful building and the productions vary depending on Director and Stage Manager. Worth visiting the Terrace Balcony where you can have a Bird's Eye View of Covent Garden and London Landscape

Woolf work is the best. It's a great art work. But don't recommend sandwich collection and coffee in the bar during the intermission. Nope!

The premier opera house of this country . Big name singers tend to make tickets rather scarce. But do try, many reasonably priced tickets.

Quite impressive. Not as beautiful as l opera Garnier in Paris but still worth a visit. We were sitting in the upper amphitheater and the view was nice so really good value for money

Try to eat beforehand as only sandwiches and cold small snacks available. But do pre-order at the bar for the interval to skip the rush the out later.

Amazing interior, beautiful theatre ! Saw the nutcracker, it was wonderful! Lovely champagne cocktails which we pre ordered for the interval .

Tickets don't cost the earth if booked in advance. Elitism is not a dirty word - the best opera and ballet in the world is very affordable ! Food and drink is good, but expensive , however.

Some amazing singers and productions for the operas although pricey and some productions sell out fast. Also stages ballet if you're into that kind of thing.

Get yourself onto their email list for the occasional amazing deal (eg best Orchestra Stalls seats for less than half price - £85 rather than the usual £180)

A fabulous place 💫💫 I watched the Il trovatore , Verdi’s opera. It was a great perfomance.

Saw "Charly and the chocolate factory ". Great performance , lots of kids.Really worth a visit, not only because of the show, but also because of the theatre .

Can generally get same day tickets in person at the box office after 10 am on the same day. They reserve about 70-80 tickets which are released on the day of performance

Incredible building and great if you get a £10 restricted view ticket (which are usually fine). Advise against getting a drink at the upstairs bar if not there for a show.

'Swan Lake ' another ballet to watch. Although can pretty much be enjoyed any season. But its better to watch it around winter as you get the warm fuzzy christmas feeling inside.

Until 3pm you can access the cafe and restaurant over looking Covent Garden square, an incredibly beautiful setting for any occasion.
