One of the few equinox in the city with a pool. Try to go at odd hours as it gets very crowded 6-9am and 5-8pm
I've been to pretty much every Equinox in Manhattan and this location is my favorite. Best classes and nicest facilities. Doesn't hurt that the elevator takes you right into Whole Foods too.
You have got to try the Powerstrike! class here- it's a steady mix of karate and kickboxing and perfect for pre-brunch on Sundays, especially if you know you're going to carbo-load later.
Aside from Flex's Sunday morning classes and the strong water pressure in the showers , this is probably my least favorite Equinox location. Unhelpful front desk staff and dungeon atmosphere.
Very luxurious spa ! I always ask for Sia. Sia has become my favorite person to go to for excellent skin care. She has over 30+ years of experience as an esthetician and is a great waxer.
This place is maaaad crowded . Make sure no one steps on your head while stretching and get ready to wait on line for weights, showers , classes . Everything!
Super clean gym with great vibes + swimming pool , sauna , steam room , shower with high-quality finish. It is $$$$$ but all worth it in my opinion.
The cycle studio at Columbus Circle has the best sound system of any of the dozen Equinoxes I've been to, and Craig Hunter's CYCLEtherapy takes full advantage of it to take you DEEP!
Ed Napper is the best trainer in the house. If you want to get your ass kicked and learn the subtle yet exact art of Crossfit, train with Ed.
While the basement location makes for a fairly depressing workout, it leads to some kickass water pressure in the shower . I'm talking clean-the-circus-elephants powerful.
I trained with Marco during and after my pregancy, he was super awesome and totally fun to work out with. Best of all, I am now fitting into my old college skinny jeans !!!
One of the largest EQX spin rooms and some of the fiercest (but friendly ) competition.
I love this location. It's close to everything you need as well . Wholefoods, shopping, Duane Reade, and more...
Although underground they have great machines and you might see a celebrity or 2...
To reach your goals, we recommend that you set challenging (yet attainable) goals and track your progress along the way!
The best gym in NYC!! Some of the best gear in the game and the trainers are hard core.
Ask about the Tier 4 coaching program for complete lifestyle maximization!
If you need a trainer , hire Marco. he is their most experienced trainer with 10+ years working there and always has the most innovative and exciting work outs!
as of july 2013, every bike has been replaced with upgraded & brand new schwinn bikes !
Has a pool and sauna and steam room . The works!
Best damn gym in the city . Try a class w Chris Vo or Violet Zaki - amazing instructors .
Holy water pressure . Showers are intense.
Amazing fitness club with amazing tools to get you the results you want!
Swimming pool , sauna , steam room and all cute guys make it perfect location.
Busy during the after work rush hour.
Foursquare thinks the hours don't begin until 8:00 am. Actually 5:30 am Monday through Friday.
Train with Marco ; he has been working there for over 10 years and always has the most creative and effective work outs!
Train with Garrett he is the best - super knowledgeable and fun too :)
Diana Rilov's yoga class on Fridays from 530-7pm is a perfect end to a New York week
CYCLEtherapy (Craig Hunter) is spiritually and physically transformative. Fridays 6:30 and Sundays at 5. Try it. See what happens!
Just did my first Triathlon at Equinox - it was such a great event and the staff were so awesome with cheering everyone on, it made me really push myself!
This is my fave Equinox in the city . Good thing it's also the most conveniently located! Huge, less crowded .
Violet's asset management class is amazing! Highly recommended if you want cardio and strength training in one.
this location has the best pool among the equinox clubs (only 3 others in nyc have pools). ask eddie the lifeguard for swimming pointers!
love the smell of rubber that hits you as you turn the corner into the treadmill area.
Single men: Please go to the yoga classes . They are filled with women who would love to help you with your half moon rising pose ;-)
Worst gym I have ever joined!! They were nice in the beginning and then I had to cancel for medical reasons and instead three months later I'm still being charged!

Take class with Will Ashley. He's a killer but super motivational.
Best equinox accross the city !!
Ed Napper is the best trainer hands down!
Want a fun and great work out that will really burn a lot of calories and strengthen your core??? Join me for a kettle bell/club bell work out sometime!
Amazing gym . New juice bar though (Creative Juice ) must be understaffed because the service is awful.
Locker room is always warm. Get a locker close to the entrance.
Deep condition your hair in the steam room with the gyms Kiehls conditioner!
Very crowded at peak times, not enough weights
Took a couple training sessions with Melinda and she's great! Her whole Tier IV team is awesome!
Take classes with Kristi Molinaro, Violet Zaki , Dawn Parker & Patricia Moreno - all super motivational!
Chelsea McLaughlin is the best trainer !
Hire Cooper Mann as your personal trainer . He's a Tier 3 and damn good at what he does. I've dropped 2 sizes and my core has never been stronger.
It's a salt water pool; probably around 20 yards in length, 3 lines. Can get crowded around 7-9pm. - Younes Cha
One of the best locations in the city! Staff is super nice and the layout is great. - Datrianna Meeks
Lots of open space. You'll have the place to yourself if you show up at the crack of dawn. Interior is super cool too - old architecture and modern EQX fixtures are a winning combination - Nate Beatty
Haven't been since COVID, so this review is pre-COVID. Club is immaculate and the staff are always helpful. It's a comfortable environment and they have everything you could ever want for your workout - ℳ????????♍
