One of the best locations in the city ! Staff is super nice and the layout is great.
Three stories of pure fitness. Numerous studios means we're free to use all of the equipment we want, including the training ropes and spin bikes . And did we mention we love the Monster Cycle class ?
We live in the future! The digital scales in the locker rooms upload your weight and BMI directly to equinox.com so you can track your progress. You sign into the system using your fingerprint.
Showers and steam room are located on the other side of the lockers and close to the women's locker room entrance; good things to consider when in a state of undress.
Still the best Equinox location I've been to
Recent renovations make the locker rooms even better. Amazing showers that now match their newest clubs!
no day passes. you can get a guest pass from a friend or pretend to be interested in a membership for a trial day though.
One of the smaller locations by Union Square, I like how they put the classes for the day on a chalkboard in front of each studio.
the clothing store has a nicely curated selection of easy going ready to wear. pretty impressed.
I train 2x a week with Tommy Crocker (Tier III Trainer ). He is awesome & I am seeing great results. I love sparring with him; he has a boxing background. Tommy is really attentive and a nice guy too
Took Antonio's Power Sculpt class for the first time and it left me tired and drenched in sweat. Awesome workout, burned 350+ calories too!
Be sure to allow yourself time to warm-up before a workout and also time to cool down after the workout! This will help prevent injuries and more! Read more
2 favorite lil perks: cool Eucalyptus towels after a workout and little plastic bags in the locker room to wrap up stinky gym clothes . Showers at this location a bit smaller, FYI.
Had a massage with Jessica H. at the spa and it was amazing! Best massage I've had in a while!
Ilaria's Powerstrike on a Monday night at 8pm rocks! Darbi's classes are worth getting up for on a Sunday am
try out the new virtual spin class on the machine added to the 2nd floor cardio equipment. its just like a real spin class with video and everything but you can "take" the class at your own leisure.
Clean , big gym . Everyone loves the eucalyptus towels and kiehls products in the bathroom .
Basically a classes-only gym . The 4-floor layout is frustrating for weight training , since the open squat rack and bench might be three floors apart .
Great facilities - nicer than most Equinox woman's lockers - newer towels-spacious - the members are very trendy
Make sure to glare at the women who leave landmines of winter coats and large bags near them as they "workout" and talk on their phone.
Runners: snag a treadmill on the second floor if you can. Great view of the entire club!
They have the best treadmill layout. The Sunday barre class is v. weird....
Renovated and awesome!
Great Gym :) come after 730 or before 6
The West Village locale is bigger, but this one is compact when you want to get your work in and don't want to mess around!
Try 30-60-90 with Topher! Fun high intensity interval training class-you'll be humbled.
This gym is the winner of the Most Hair Product Usage in an Equinox award.
Top floor is the coolest and least crowded
Spicy jalapeño shot is weird but it will def wake you up.
the locker room layout feels like something from a twisted saw horror movie , except there is no reprieve or climax.
Get your equifit assessment. It's free for members and can help you focus your workouts or avoid injury
New locker rooms are nice, especially the showers .
Tackle anybody that gets in the way of you joining a 30 60 90 class . People are ruthless about the load in.
Get the best workout on the top floor. Always best on top
Tip: Scowl at women who clutter gym w coats and bags and trainers who don't restack weights or wipe down equipment.
If you can go trough Jermain's class you can go trough any class
Make sure to schedule a massage with the Spa . They are excellent!
Try David DaSilva if you're looking for a high energy , world music cycling class .
Jorge Berrios best trainer in the place. Well worth the investment.
Pilates Barre youchies and a smoothie on the way out.
Don't have cable? You can watch the Rachel Maddow and Up with Chris on MSNBC here. #uppers #nerdland #bringearbuds
Have worked out a various Equinox locations in NYC and 19th street is still my favorite.
Don't sign up!! Overcrowded & managers dont do anything but stand around with arms crossed like a bunch of tools. The trainers hog multiple stations at primetimes. Bathrooms an steam Reeks of Vinegar!
Great place for getting a healthy lunch .
Post workout: shower off but leave (lots of) kiehls conditioner in your hair then sit in steam room for 15 min. Shower again and rinse. Ur welcome.
Excellent layout, plenty of space and machines, and great locker rooms .
Lacey Stone's Spin class is the best. Wednesday midday. She is truly motivating.
The entire facility.
Bored running on the treadmill ? Find one at the end of the line-up, pause during your run, and try some of these exercises. Read more
New equipment is awesome
I've been to pretty much every Equinox in Manhattan and this location is my favorite. Best classes and nicest facilities. Doesn't hurt that the elevator takes you right into Whole Foods too. - Josephine Son
This Rockefeller center location is one of my favorite weekday corporate gym. The classes are consistently outstanding & the layout is more robust with luxury in mind. Staff are friendly & respectful - ℳ????????♍
Best workout in the world! One of the more spacious studios. - Amber
Best breakfast in the area. Reasonably priced, healthy, fresh, and a great view of the park. - David Billotti
You can get ronnybrook milk here, and great meat. Also, best place to get fresh and sweet tomatoes in NYC. Difficult to get around, but worth it. - Emma Markham
A wonderful array of meat, cheese dessert and hot meals. A must stop if yore a foodie. - Dee H
